yep ... it's free speech etcetera - it's satirical discourse... If the boot were on the other foot I rather think we'd be treated to some arrests - which is I suspect what's passed through the minds of The Jo Cox Foundation folk. Love to see a reaction from Labour's McDonald in a TV interview.

I don't endorse violence... We should debate not fight... This is outrageous... Etc.

But come on.
Punk Kids shock the Grown-Ups is not news.
It's their job.

"All that said the planets having an effect on the Sun doesn't seem that far fetched to me."

Agreed. The Moon causes tides on Earth, As a Yottie, I have done the Theory and the Practical, but it still seems a bit far fetched.

"Telling children they can pick their gender is as fundamentally stupid as telling children they can choose their species."

A lot of these children already made a mistake when they chose their parents.

Telling children they can pick their gender is as fundamentally stupid as telling children they can choose their species.

If we did, we’d have classrooms filled with mermaids, aquamen, wizards, gnomes, fairies and aliens.

reminds me of Greta for some reason.

'• James Bond's Quantum of Solace.
• The Kingsmen.
• Thanos in the very successful Marvel movies

And Prince Philip and very possibly his no. 1 son support the humanity as virus idea.

The Times tells me : Merkel's named successor has invoked German totalitarian thinking
Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer @akk
The CDU president) wants to crack down on the free speech before elections to prevent "political propaganda".

I check and it turns celebs and Green Youtube stars are ran an orchestrated campaign on Climate Change before the EU election,
"dozens of YouTube vloggers released videos criticising the party and its centre-left coalition partner for their record on climate change and economic inequality"
AKK said 'hey we have rules for newspapers
and compared the effect of the criticism to that of 70 newspapers making common cause against the government on the eve of an election.

On the topic of propaganda, the question arises: what are the rules that govern the analogue world and what rules carry force in the digital sphere?
That is a question we will have to discuss

============

Today DW Germany's BBC has a headline : Germany's Greens overtake Merkel's conservatives in poll first time
\\ Greens a 27% approval rating — a jump of 9 percentage points from the previous week. Merkel's Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the allied Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU) fell two points to 26%.

The result comes a week after the Greens emerged as the second-strongest force in the European Parliament elections with 20.1% of the vote.
The CDU/CSU and its junior coalition partners, the Social Democrats (SPD), on the other hand, suffered historic losses. The CDU/CSU managed 28.9%, while the SPD took 15.8%.//

there's a fair bit of headscratching going wrt the relatively recent observations of electrical stuff going on at Jupiter - not that I'm suggesting that electrical effects predominate ( not an unalloyed EU! fan) - but hopefully the solar probe presently roasting up close to the nearest star will provide some evidence of what's going on....

Isn't tha just the barycentric theory which gets short shrift with most solar scientists? I'm no expert but I recall there's a 19byear Jupiter /Saturn cycle and others which make the centre of gravity of solar system moves in a kind of spiral and sometimes it's outside the diameter of the sun. The effects a further complicated by the fact orbital eccentricity changes and all orbits are in a slightly different plane.

All that said the planets having an effect on the Sun doesn't seem that far fetched to me.
