Spamvertising - Josh 207

A bit of an anniversary cartoon as it was a year ago this month that The Tree Hut Gang were were exposed in Opengate. Now they have branched out into Spamvertising (H/t Lucia) with Al Gore's Climate Reality Project. Read about on BH here, Lucia's here and WUWT here.

Let's hope they keep up this kind of tactic, it is so entertaining.

I propose a name change for Skeptical Science that better reflects its methods, pyschology and goals-

Septical Science

Definition of Septical-
1. Putrefactive, putrefying; in modern use, a reference to a disease, caused by the absorption of the products of putrefaction or a substance that promotes putrefaction.
2. Produced by putrefaction or morbid germs; such as, septic poisoning.
3. Heavily polluted; a reference to a habitat or zone of fresh water rich in decomposing organic matter, high in carbon dioxide and very low in dissolved oxygen.

Sharp and gentle at the same time!

Time to fiddle a bit with some Shakespeare:

Josh to faults is always blind, always is to joy inclined. Lawless, winged, and unconfined, and breaks all chains from every mind.

Another fine piece of work! Surely when the People's Encyclopedia of the Great Climate Madness is compiled, there will be a substantial section on Josh's drawings, complete with analysis/deconstruction/pontification - or whatever it will be called then - by learned souls upon the layers of meaning and insight woven in amidst the humour.

I tried to lighten the mood over at the Tree House and give them a smile by posting this.

Curiously, my login there has stopped working.

I'm sure it's just a temporary technical glitch.

- Also today a Real Expert shines a light propaganda & on how consensus is MANUFACTURED
- Prof Stewart Franks on Radio 2GB Andrew Bolt with Steve Price, March 4 -
They * call it "The angry summer", but there is an "angry scientist sat in my chair !"
AUDIO 35 mins into broadcast
"the experts the Media call are not experts". The ABC won't broadcast him the expert, but chooses to broadcast "Professional Climate Scientists" who have no expertise, but depend on hyping up climate change for their careers.

- Aha ..This explains why the public believe there is a "catastrophe is a certain" 97% of scientists" consensus.
- Despite the "97% of scientists" consensus figure coming from that A BOGUS study, BBC, ABC, CBC media people only get to see scientists like Flannery, Dr Karl, Paul Nurse who are paid PR people speaking outside their own fields of expertise, whilst any scientists who don't toe the "catastrophe is certain" line are effectively banned.
So those MEDIA PEOPLE exist in a world where "97% of scientists" consensus say "catastrophe is certain" so they have no problem in passing that lie onto the public.

- The original article here Franks complains the MEDIA'S EXPERTS are not expert climate-and-floods-flannery-is-no-expert-but-neither-are-the-experts

- The expert the ABC chose to broadcast instead of him was Karoly who had published nothing relevant.
- Since then Karoly had an alarmist paper the media widely reported, but which never made it to publication and has still not cleared peer review 1 year later
The Journal of Climate : "Due to errors discovered in this paper during the publication process, it was withdrawn by the authors prior to being published in final form." - details on retractionwatch.wordpress.com

* report published by climatecommission.gov.au

- FergalR - That didn't worry anybody from the IPCC or alarmist community since their models had already predicted that.

Lovely job Josh.
As we know from the Treehut Files, Cook was already planning to spam blogs with false sceptical comments in order to test reactions two years ago. Getting real commenters to post made-up comments from a real blog is some sort of moral progress, I suppose.

Lewandowski . Deceased Hugo Chavez must of also been a Climate Change Denier.

He also believed that the Moon Landings were faked and 9 11 was a put up job by the CIA.

So is Conspiracy Theorist nut job Hugo Chavez such a sainted darling of all the Lefties now

That is according to Madonna, s ex husband Sean Penn and the late great Christopher Hitchens

How appropriate - the MacArthur Foundation, funded by the Bankers Life, an insurance company which invented spam marketeering on the back of fearmongering:

MacArthur developed the concept of mass marketing low cost health insurance policies through the mail and by 1956, Bankers was the largest health and accident insurance company in America.

Guess they know their niche rather well.

The AGW maroons never had more than the bully's argument any way. Now their mask is slipping and we get to see more an dmore plainly just how empty their position is. This may be the best example of the real face of climate alarmism since the infamous child murder video they put out a couple of years ago.

If Al can't convince us by dropping reality, we can have a jolly good sing song

Reality Drops must be a further extension of Cook's iPhone app and Firefox plugin: http://www.skepticalscience.com/Skeptical-Science-Firefox-Add-on.html

These prophylactic programs to prevent dangerous ideas germinating are apparently designed to collect newly forming dangerous ideas and pro-actively generate rebuttals.

It is hoped eventually to have them available in three sizes:

"Will there be app updates when the beginner-intermediate-advanced rebuttals are complete?"

Great, now I have to line the space under my computer desk with newspaper to catch all the Reality Droppings. Anybody got any old front pages of the NY Times handy?
