Even the Times science editor was pulled up by a farmer in the letters page
"He should know that
..cows only have ONE udder
..heifers being maidens DON'T produce milk"
-------------------

The Times Editorial wrote that Social Media firms should have pop-ups warning users about possible online groomers ..a NSPCC suggestion.

BBC lack of science tonight against
They had a prog about unconscious bias against women, even by women
Their blurb
\\ Even avowed feminists are found to be unconsciously biased against women when they take ‘implicit association’ tests” //
#1 The prog made a big deal about Implicit Bias Tests
but it’s come up before that they are flawed
https://qz.com/1144504/the-world-is-relying-on-a-flawed-psychological-test-to-fight-racism
#2 It made an extraordinary claim that of the top 10 political journalism tweeters all are men
..Dingaling, hangon surely one of the most retweeted political person is KTHopkins ?
So I’m betting that survey specifically excluded KTHopkins as libs don’t like her..
The prog maker replied to my tweet
@ MASieghart "But she’s not a political journalist."
..well there you go that's libs being biased against a woman
... even though she’s a newspaper columnist, and goes to places to research and write up reports, they try to say ‘she’s no journalist’

Bolt talking about Victoria power cuts
40C is a common thing, but this incident wasn't over 40C, and over weekend
a few days ago Melbourne hospitals were asked to dim lights and factories paid not to switch off
ie they are calling it "extra capacity" when they are actually using demand management.

Now DJ's are talking about how summer heatspells used to be hotter, now get hyperbole about lower temps

@Brent Hargreaves

“I worked hard running my scams. But with the CO2, it wasn’t work at all,” one protagonist told French daily Le Monde.

QOTD?

In other news ... They did it....

some revelations about DONG windfarmers

They've registered 36 separate companies in the UK - the rationale behind the registrations is not clear - but it seems likely that it's a tax or accounting procedural dodge.

lib ideology world eg Peace Corps "Oh you could have an organic farm here and grow lots of veg instead of animals"
Villager : I buy a calf for $100 and put in on the mountain then next year sell it for $500.. easy money
I grow veg and sit around at the market for hours, nope I'll grow palm oil and sell it to the plantation company who will come and pick it up and give me big cash"
...

imho vegans and vegetarians are crazy

Vegans are moved to threaten chefs (or the waiter’s children) because we care about the wellbeing of farm animals, not ourselves.

Insane woman. There would be no farm animals if we didn't eat them. Sheep would probably be extinct.

Caroline Blucas chairs the 21 member Council on Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) HERE

- anybody spot a gurning NGO plant (or several) ?

In a video on her twitter timeline it's obvious she thinks that government drives the oil business - she'd be out of her depth on a dewy lawn.
