Jit, that's the point.
Share prices wouldn't have moved if the IPCC said there was no problem.

Prices clearly haven't factored in the end of coal and oil. And travel.
They have factored in the impact of the IPCC's call for regulation or taxation.

The factor they have considered is that no-one really believes it so they ignore the IPCC.

One lie at a time, please, EM.
After a few years of exchanges, I do you the honour of assuming that you don't normally fabricate factual lies that are too quickly disproved. Unless I have missed something in the comments, I am still curious to know why you made the incorrect statement about Dr Mclean not having a Ph.D. Has he previously lied about it elsewhere? What is the basis for your assertion?

@M Courtney

The other explanation is that the report was already factored in to share values. How would they have responded if the IPCC had announced that there was nothing to worry about after all?

If even Europe acknowledges that the IPCC report is meaningless then it’s over.
We Sceptics have won.

May's Not the Conservatives

High levels of taxation are throttling families, as new statistics show household disposable income falling, despite pay levels rising.

Yet, May and Hammond are promoting more tax in budget.

Corbyn's "Kinder, Gentler Politics"

Socialists and Labour Party members and supporters have bombarded the Tory candidate for London Mayor with racist abuse, berating him for being a right-wing black man.

Why should anyone trust physics used to explain Mann's Hockey Stick if it flattens out the Medieval Warm Period and Little Ice Age, and still can't account for the warming that allowed the Franklin Expedition coming a few decades after the World's Year Without a Summer in 1816?

Please provide a list of confirmations. Does it include Gergis?

Mann's Hockey Stick was a con trick. It still is. I am honest enough to admit being conned by Mann's Hockey Stick initially. Why should anyone trust anyone who still believes in Mann's Hockey Stick, which of course involves the entire IPCC, and its processes?

Supertrol, golf charliel

Do the physics.

From the end of the last glacial period Milankovich warming raised the temperature 1.5C over 10,000 years. A slow 80ppm increase in CO2 over the same period added enough positive feedback to produce an overall warming of 5C.

5000 years ago we started back down, -1C to the mid 1800s, with only a small change in CO2 due to the usual lags.

Now we have a small Milankovich cooling and a big jump in AGW from the rapid rise in CO2. Don't you believe your own profession?

Golf charlie, why are you obsessed with a 20 year old paper whose results have been confirmed repeatedly.
