Google are turning the political handle - many Google Apps are now popping a dialog box on "app open" with a link to their Article 13 screeds...

Android also popping political kerrapp/BS (as you noted much of it GREEN tinged ) into the notifications list - sometimes for apps that I thought I'd disabled notifications for (several "updates" ago...)

I'm seriously starting to wonder about ditching Android and am looking at Tizen - but I think Samsung are not the sort of partner I care for after owning quite a few of their phones with tech issues over the years. There is a gap in the market for a handset maker who nukes all the BS stuffed into the present generation of phones - I sincerely doubt I'm alone in getting annoyed at the intrusiveness of the present raft of OSs and the main handset makers and I'm willing to pay a premium for what I want.

quote : Any mention by the BBC reporters of riots in Brussels today, in the style of Gilets Jaunes, against the EU headquarters over fuel prices, and cost of living ?
Can’t find any mention so far, but they are occurring, with at least two riot vans torched so far.

Times a Norwegian married a Quebecois and went to have wilderness life in Yukon as fur trapper.
As he approached his hut he had ti kill a charging bear
... then found the bear had already killed his wife and baby when they were on their morning walk.

"Our over-reliance on “unpredictable” green energy .. " Nov 30, 2018 at 8:10 AM | Uibhist a Tuath

Do the SNP have a particularly cunning plan to deal with any civil disobedience that may result, or are they relying on power cuts to prevent anyone finding out the reason why they keep having power cuts?

Re change in the Daily Mail : In the R4 Media show 10 days ago
Andrew Pierce (Ex -Mail-on-Sunday editor)defended the changes by saying , the hasn't been a real change ...readership is up
from minute 14
"No we don't edit comments below the line, on Saturday sales were up 61K (cherrypick)
..yes we did have Labour's Tom Watson just do an article "

Nope, says next panelist
Mail used to be pro-Brexit now it is in favour of May's RemainBrexit
Mail on Sunday was always anti-Brexit
The Times was always anti-Brexit
The Sunday Times was always pro-Brexit
The Express is now owned by Daily Mirror REACH Group ..so it's "tone" has changed

The DM is now calling the Brexiteers "saboteurs"

There is an argument that media has to look to serve younger people as the old die.

"An unstable electricity supply, if allowed to fester, could lead to civil disobedience, severe disruption, and deaths."

Unlike the oft-heard hysterical claims from CAGW catostrophists, this claim is actually a plausible one.
