Well, there was certainly lying going on. Trump's semi-detached lawyer Sydney Powell is being sued by Dominion Voting Systems and others for her mad claims that they colluded in massive pro-Biden vote manipulation. Claims repeated by her boss in a tweet "REPORT: DOMINION DELETED 2.7 MILLION TRUMP VOTES NATIONWIDE." (Dontcha miss those ALL CAPS lies?)
Her lawyers are deploying the 'Tim Ball' defence: no “reasonable person” could have mistaken her wild claims about election fraud for statements of fact. Which must mean she thinks her ex-client is not such a person. Or he's a big fat liar. Who knew?

Using my own experience of civil disturbances as a rough guide (ANL - late 1970s) the Capitol "insurrection" was a lame farce - if you discount Ashli Babbit ...
- and oh boy... NYT, WaPo, CNN, MSNBC et al swerve an examination of that incident like it's Kryptonite. If that was legitimate use of deadly force then there's a case for festooning the Portland Federal Court with Claymore devices.
The fat twat who pulled the trigger is lucky that his bullet didn't carry on and hit the Capitol PD officers stood next to Ms Babbitt.
