Maybe the Greens feel at home with sharia law. It 'discourages' people from taking an unhealthy interest in science, which only leads them to ask awkward questions about Green dogma on climate. Is this why the far left never criticises it? They recognise fellow authoritarians when they see them?

See Raif Badawi (the flogged blogger) on the efficacy of sharia astronomy:

I suppose the Grauniad would squeal with self righteous indignation, if I advocated leaving some banana skins outside the entrance to their office.

Meanwhile, these beheading comments, are made by a Grauniad staffer, posted on a Grauniad website, and deemed acceptable, by Alan Rushridgers daughter.

Seems perfectly normal, by Grauniad standards. I am sure that the editors daughter was the best candidate for the job they interviewed, and that nepotism had nothing to do with it. Nepotism does not meet the Grauniads normal low standards.

The Green Party Manifesto is rather scary. I cannot believe that 11%of the population are aware of its existence. I look forward to seeing its nonsense being exposed by Newsnight, Channel4 news and BBC news.

Even the US secret services could get interested now. They did not get a christmas card from the Grauniad, but may have intercepts that confirm why.

They may even be invoking the "Santer Clause", something to do with threats of violence down dark alleys.

Was it not Caligula who lamented "I wish the people had but one head!" ?Anyway, it seems the Greens are at home with beheadings judging by these tasteless comments!

Noting RogTallbloke's reference to sharia law, are male Grauniad staffers only writing this bile, on the understanding, that on reaching heaven, 7-70 virgins will make themselves "available"? Maybe male Grauniad staffers, ought to get out more, and try social intercourse, before thinking about anything more "advanced".

Jan 23, 2015 at 5:45 PM | Unregistered CommenterGolf Charlie

You only have to look at the Nazi Party to see that green policies can, and do, go hand-in-hand with other very extremist views.

Sharia Law also dictates being stoned to death. Has practising what they preach, led to confusion about what it means, for the Green Luvvies?

Does anyone know of any shark communites facing death/extinction through starvation?

It occurs to me, that a Greenpeace ship, fully crewed and staffed, must be full of shark food.

I am assuming that the French Intelligence Services may be reading this.

Jan 23, 2015 at 6:43 PM | Unregistered CommenterGolf Charlie

@ Golf Charlie: Won't a ship-load of bean-eating veggies/vegans cause serious nutritional problems for the shark populations in question?

Jan 23, 2015 at 7:09 PM | Registered CommenterSalopian

I am assuming that the French Intelligence Services may be reading this.

Bien sûr

I'm happy to be Matt - just don't think I can be walked over, Guardian!

Jan 23, 2015 at 7:25 PM | Unregistered CommenterHarry Passfield

Salopian, the sharks will get over it.

They might even modify their eating habits in future, having noted that a veggie rich diet, compensates for their lack of a swim bladder, and consequent negative uoyancy. Also the benefits of jet propulsion, have not been tried by living sharks. Obviously the shark in Jaws was destroyed by the rapid expansion of compressed air, but a controlled release of pressurised gas could improve both top speed and acceleration.

Jan 23, 2015 at 7:58 PM | Unregistered CommenterGolf Charlie

Many of the staff at Greenpeace and the Guardian make people who believe that the Moon landing was faked, look open minded and intelligent.

Jan 23, 2015 at 8:26 PM | Unregistered CommenterSundance

Any other countries security services reading this?

Greepeace loved their Russian prison, especially the fact that no fossil fuels were wasted on heating it.

The Canadians are fed up with Greenpeace jokes about Canadian fishermen, going out for a nights clubbing.

The Chinese and Japanese will eat most things, not sure if they have tried thinly sliced raw veggies, Greenpeace or Grauniad, they really aren't fussy.

The US prison capacity is huge. I am sure they could squeeze in a few more, once being a Guardian and or Greenpeace activist achieves the recognition it deserves. Obviously double points for Mr Bluecloud.

Inuits have noted the explosion in growth of polar bear numbers, since they were banned from eating them.

Jan 23, 2015 at 8:29 PM | Unregistered CommenterGolf Charlie

@ Golf Charlie: OK, but the sharks should all be willing volunteers. No sharks should be harmed in this experiment in order to avoid any objections from the green blob.

Jan 23, 2015 at 8:50 PM | Registered CommenterSalopian

The Greens value a sustainable Malthusian primitivisation. The invention of Dr Guillotine quite fits the bill.

Jan 23, 2015 at 9:54 PM | Unregistered CommenterManfred

My concern for the sharks relates to the poison within the pens of the Grauniad staffers. Whilst it is encouraging to note that most of them have moved on from coloured crayons (only red and green were allowed), their Greenpeace stormtroopers, have infiltrated as yet unheard of, tribes of headhunters, in order to aid recruitment into the BBC.

Some of these headhunters, do use a variety of neurotoxins, hallucinogenics, appetite suppressants, and opiates, in addition to the champagne served in their favourite wine bar, in order to write exotic fiction, and if other people lose their jobs, well, that is brilliant, and deserves one of the big red happy pills, washed down with a snort of the white powder, on the lid of the toilet cistern, even if it turns out to be harpic.

Some of the neuro toxins are also useful for stabbing people with (who says cheap wine is the only good thing to come out of Bulgaria) and therefore meeting a Grauniad/Greenpeace staffer, or would-be journalist, who has a pen "that doesn't seem to write very well" should put you on your guard. No veggies should be fed to sharks, without checking for writing implements first.

Since Jaws, sharks have had a lot of bad press, and survived. The Poisoned Pen of a Green Luvvie, could lead to a mass extinction event, of species other than the intended target, mankind.

Jan 23, 2015 at 10:00 PM | Unregistered CommenterGolf Charlie

I would just like to apologise to the noble toilet cleaners at the BBC, no Harpic has ever been found on the lid of a toilet cistern at the BBC. Allegations that weird white powder had been noticed on cistern lids may have referred to other brands of toilet cleaner, which are of course available.

has this thread been clipped by the way Bish/Josh, sure i saw more comments earlier ?

anyway, things are not panning out in the way Bluecloud & GP expected so the next level will be to ramp up the "we are angry, you will pay one way or another, shut up you Dxxxxxx" threats, he is just jumping the gun a bit on this (we know it's coming/is here, so be prepared to hear more of this BS.

Jan 23, 2015 at 11:49 PM | Registered Commenteromnologos

This is so obvious it's probably been mentioned upthread, but:

The green in Greenpeace is now thought to be a homage to the Islamic flag. The common misconception that it represents chlorophyll is easily dispelled by noting the plant-phobia endemic to the 'environmentalist' community and expressed in the form of anti-carbon-dioxide militancy.

Also on Facebook the link between Evans and Bluecloud is apparent

Normally us thick skin skeptics would laugh this off and just allow the smug environmentalists to happily show themselves up for what they are.

But after Paris and the plight of the two Japanese hostages facing execution by ISIS
perhaps intended lighthearted beheading comments don't quite seem so funny anymore.

Too lighten the mood i,ve been reading about the scientists fiddling around on the doomsday clock.Climate Change ISIS getting hold of a Nuclear bomb usual end of the world spectacular light show blah blah.

Got me thinking if these guys are predicting the imminent end of the world wonder if they have pension funds and investments.Would they be prepared to list their own financial interests at their next press conference etc.
Must be getting paid from somewhere they must be looking forward to more increase growth in the world economy.Must be making on the money markets to see them and their families through their old age.

Golf Charlie,

I hope your description of the toilet cleaners as noble was non-ironic. They go home with dignity after every shift, having done the only honest work in the building.

Jan 24, 2015 at 12:28 AM | Unregistered CommenterBradley Keyes

Dear old 'Bluecloud'. I remember him vividly! He was the really nasty bastard in Guardian comments some years ago who made me take a very hard look at 'The Science' after I posted a question about data collection standards re temperatures on the.Guardian's CIF section. To say that I was savaged is putting it mildly! But once I had looked ( I'm an Arts professional, not a scientist, although I enjoy many 'sciency' interests) I became convinced that Bluecloud and his ilk were not just gratuitously nasty but scientific morons as well.
To see him become an imaginary environmental Jihadi is no surprise at all.
And this episode convinces me even more that he is a monumental plonker.

Jan 24, 2015 at 12:55 AM | Unregistered CommenterAlexander K

Bradley Keyes, yes I agree, but toilet cleaners go to work, after every big shot, who does not give a big shot, about any other big shot, dumps a big shot, and expects someone else to clear up the mess.

I hope that resolves any confusion about my views about BBC big shots. I have never met any BBC toilet cleaners, but I am sure that all evidence of their hardwork can be obscured by a big shot.

It is illuminating to consider the type of solutions the climate believer and the climate skeptic seeks. For the climate believer, the solution is to take off the heads of climate skeptics. For the climate skeptic solution is for the climate obsessed to put their heads back on and use them.

Jan 24, 2015 at 2:02 PM | Unregistered CommenterGolf Charlie

@hunter is right . More interested in hate than solutions.
The Guardian forums seem frequently spend time discussing hate for "deniers", but rarely go into detail about actually evaluating CO2 reduction techniques.

Jan 24, 2015 at 2:12 PM | Registered Commenterstewgreen

stewgreen, how can you expect Grauniad commenters to be constructive about something they know nothing about? Some of them are training to be climate scientists at UEA, and have to know how to ignore constructive criticism.
