Get an Amazon Associates account...
Anybody that 'clicks through' and buys something from an Amazon ad on your site makes you 5%.
Doesn't cost them anything to do so - they pay the same price as they would normally, doesn't cost you anything to host the advert.
I pay for all my hosting with Amazon associates... I got nowhere asking the tight bastards to click the 'donate' button!
Yep good idea Penn Jillette on his Sunday School podcast catchphrase is "Clear your cookies then come our my site then when you buy something we get a little nibble that keeps this podcast free"
- a BH shop-page might be an idea aswell
- And maybe a sign somewhere saying "There ain't no BigOil bank supporting this site , only people like you dropping a tip in the jar"
- Maybe John Craven will plug Josh's calendar on Countyfile TV prog as they seem to have masses of slotse for adverts for their £10 calendar £6 of which does NOT go to charity.
That's a damn good idea. I buy lots of stuff via Amazon and they are smart enough to track what I've searched for and then put adverts for those products on any sites I visit.

Hi Andrew - not much, just a small thank you for the site. Keep at it - FWIW my minor comment would be "beware the smiling assassins". I do not see ANY change from the alarmist side despite all their "good faith dialogue" but I recognise you are the man at the coal face/leading into the wind (delete as preferred!) Best wishes.
