Perhaps a bit off-topic: this is a scientist? As can be found in Earth Observatory. :
So, am I right that what he is saying is: “Let’s start with a premise, then do everything we can to ensure that all evidence supports that premise.”?
The remainder of the article merely supports that preposterous idea. It makes it even more depressing when you see what well-respected organization it is part of.

That's standard operating procedure for climate science. For the same dataset, ocean heat content, the climate models could not reproduce the sharp rise in the 1970s followed by a partial dip in the 1980s (known as the hump or the bump) so they looked for an excuse to delete it--even though there is an explanation for the warming in the early 1970s. I got Bob's book from Kindle and skimmed through. I read his previous offering "who turned on the Heat" and found it excellent. From my first glance this seems equally informative with excellent graphics. These books certainly inprove my understanding in the role played by the worlds oceans. Well done Bob. I an looking forward to studying it in detail.
