Bishop Hill Commenting problems
Nov 12, 2013 I'm experiencing major problems with the site. Almost all comments are disappearing into a black hole. I have put in a support ticket and will post an update when I have news.

Commenters tell me that comments from registered members are still getting through.

Mine seems to have just gone through as normal on the (rarther scant) Walport thread.

My first comment on Walport failed. I have just put another on, and that worked.
I'm not registered but I commented on "Captive State" a couple of days ago without any problem - will this one get through?

I often have problems commenting when unregistered - there seems to be an ongoing glitch there.

And now WattsUpWithThat has had a spam attack too.
It's very bad luck and with the conference in Poland going on as well.
At least Jo Nova never has internet attacks (fingers crossed).
However, if this double-posts it has nothing to do with the internet and is just what always happens from this PC on this site.

Not true, show was taken out for an extended period. Last year IIRC.

OK, last msg got through whereas yesterdays posts in same conditions were getting lost.
Looks to be cleared from this end.

Darn it! .... the black hole has disappeared. Bang goes my cunning plan to get rid of global warming, AR5 and ABBA.
I'm getting a series of "Connection was reset" warnings. Back a page and try again seems to work most of the time but summat's not right somewhere.
