Just picked up my Calendar-By-Josh from the post office ... and even though someone along the way seemed to think that "Please do not bend" = "Let's make a few slashes in the wrapping", it has survived in all its delightful, much appreciated - and duly signed for authenticity ;-) - glory!
Now all I have to do is re-arrange the stuff on the walls in my office, so that I can give this work of art pride of place!

Dear Dr Montford and Josh (and your families)
In wishing the pair of you a belated Happy Christmas and an early Happy New Year I am delighted to report that my Christmas stocking contained a copy of Hiding the Decline which will keep me happy for several evenings. However:I have looked right through the book but cannot find one illustration by Josh; a sad omission, IMHO, but hope that the second edition will remedy the situation!
Please keep up the good work so that scientific illiterates like me can make some sense of the stupidities we are obliged to read in the MSM.
