but forgets about the chidren and parents well being in the next 50 years -
a bit like Sir John Houghton (IPCC) , also big on stewardship.. but NOT tackling poverty first..

However if we eliminate malaria now for example (we know how at minimal cost) then an extra 5% malaria deaths in 50 years is MEANINGLESS.

This is the guy (Lockwood) who said about the weak solar cycle 24 that if there was going to be a cooling effect as a result then we would have seen it by now! Well are we not?
