I thought it was interesting that several of the diners didn't seem to be clear who Josh is, which means that they don't look here or at WUWT very often.

Dr Curry is my hero and I think was quite gracious in the way she responded to the situation.
Does any institution of note support this award? Or is this just a few people in a restaurant expressing their appreciation for one of their number?
