Commenting difficulties

A couple of people have said they have been having slowness and/or errors. This is a problem with Squarespace, but they seem to be on the case.

A few sites I've stumbled across recently....

Off topic, but the Telegraph is reporting Himalayan glaciers are actually growing. Can't wait to hear how this is actually a hidden sign of AGW!
Yep, this website is covered in factual errors.
I recommend Peter Sinclair's Climate Denial Crock of the Week if you want to read facts.

I'd be careful if I were you. Someone might remember that little bit in AR4 where it said Himalayan glaciers would have melted by, oh, now when was it? Let me see. Hmmm...

I've been locked out of comments I think about three times in total over the last couple of months. Only a system restart sorted the issue out. Much else was tried, to no avail.
I sometimes find the site rather slow to load and unresponsive. This has been particularly noticeable over the last week or so. Livable with, but it feels as though something isn't quite right.
Good to hear Squarespace is investigating.
Not sure if it's relevant, but the anti-spambot 'type in the characters' thing comes up every time I post. It only used to appear if the comment had taken a long time to write or was full of links, or both.
I've been having problems with slowness for some time now, but not whilst at the computer :-0
Any slowness or errors in comments by me are probably generated at my end, and are not due to squarespace system limitations.
;-)
See,there's proof of my slowness. HtL already has that ground covered.
Since it is more relevant here, I'll repeat a sentence from a comment I made on the mobile access post:
"I do twitch when the blog loses a draft comment of mine on exiting from the 'Preview Post' option -- this has happened to me half a dozen times. "
Jane Coles
Oh yes. Me too. I do anything more than a paragraph in Word and paste ;-)
