Media coverage of the S&TC hearings

I'll post any coverage of the hearings here.
So far there's only Guardian Eco. Apparently the exchange over the Oxburgh papers didn't fluster the witnesses! They also get the committee chairman's name wrong.

Repeat my comment from the other thread:
Well that Guardian report seems to be from another world, Carrington thought the session was "torpid", maybe because he found it hard to follow?
This stuck out though:
"The MPs, including the climate sceptic Graham Stringer, were unaggressive and seemed to be going through the motions."
Has Graham Stringer come out as a climate sceptic? Seems a bit of a presumption to me.
What else could Damian Carrington say, after all he is the doom-laden head of Environment at the Guardian.
We also have to thank Damian Carrington personally for publicly featuring the 10-10 campaign film, that so spectacularily backfired.

I think the point about Stringer is that he asked probing questions of CRU scientists. To the Guardian this makes you a sceptic.
Damian Carrington's judgement must be questioned, the 10:10 disaster aside...
Slide in climate change belief is a temporary glitch
He wishes... and he is certainly wishing no snow this winter... otherwise there will be mass "Find and Replace" of "Change" to "Disruption"...
The credibly of the Guardian took a severe beating with 10:10 and he led them into the ring as seconds to Franny and Lizzie and Eugenie... No pressure eh Damian?
Get over to the Guardian and comment. It's not going too well for Damian
Steve McIntyre has just commented on the Guardian Carrington thread
ZTZT's extension of Steve's comment is compelling. Either the emails were deleted or Davies lies again.
==============
er, Acton, not Davies.
=======
It's hard to contend with the torque of the chicaneurs.
===========
1. UEA stated that attachments to emails were deleted.
2. UEA now state that all emails are stored and available.
Q1. If the attachments were deleted, who deleted them?
Q2. If the emails are all now available did UEA have a back-up of the deleted emails?
Re Mac
The answer to both your questions are probably on the CRU server currently in custody, and has been studiously ignored by both Russell and Oxburgh. Russell's comments about having to interview Jones under caution shouldn't be an issue now, or after the ICO had told them they couldn't prosecute due to time running out. So shouldn't be any reason why they can't answer the questions now.
