Yeah, right! But can anyone explain to me how this is supposed to work? Hansen says this is plausible because the sea-level went up that sort of amount at the end of the Eemian interglacial. But my primitive understanding of climate science suggests that the temperature goes down at the end of interglacials. So how does that send up sea-level?

In other words - in countries with long experience of lying, incompetent scientists, it takes more than the unproven claims of hysterical PhDs to make them swallow yet another scare story. Researchers in one of the less credible sciences express bemusement at this effect. People with a grudge against successful countries on the other hand, believe that the US and the UK are guilty and should pay reparation and or be kicked back to the stone age. Now who would have guessed that?
