More ice breaking ships are required in the Antarctic, big ones, with massive oil burning engines, to liquidise the ice and warm it up to prevent refreezing. It is the only way to save the penguins.

It is curious that other Antarctic glaciers are apparently melting due to "warm" seawater. Some of these scaremongers need to get their facts straight, before going to the BBC for publicity, because the BBC's Science Experts can't be relied on.

Flatulating godzilla cockles, the new scourge of the Baltic. It's not CO2 at all. Climate models will need further adjustment.

University bosses complain UK is desperate for EU research grants
... couldn't they use some of their £40 million collective pay/benefits ?

News : windfarms grants are to be given for Scottish Isles in 2019
but only yesterday You and Yours said that Orkney has a problem that is doesn't have enough cable to export much of the energy it generates from wind.

Imagine cow-sized shellfish, rampaging across the Baltic invading the beaches on Usedom... the horror, the horror...

Please be careful about feeding the imagination of Climate Scientists, especially those with a nice little earner in "doing" peer review. The evidence from science journals confirms they will believe anything.

@Otto so in Baltic sea mussels emit 10% of all its methane
equivalent to 20,000 cows
So that can hardly be news ..experts must know they emit methane

A quick Google shows stories about Mussels eating methane from undersea vents

A 2016 paper says "however, increased densities of ribbed mussels significantly increased the emission of methane."

Penguins die in 'catastrophic' Antarctic breeding season

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-41608722

"All but two Adelie penguin chicks have starved to death in their east Antarctic colony, in a breeding season described as "catastrophic" by experts.
It was caused by unusually high amounts of ice late in the season, meaning adults had to travel further for food.
It is the second bad season in five years after no chicks survived in 2015."

Sad, but that's global warming for you!

Just saw this on the Telegraph, oysters are evil, ban them !

mussel cars

I wondered how practical with so many tourists and their cars and tour-buses banned from going in the downtown.
Yet it turns out the ban area is small

\\ And on these roads, the council admits in its planning document, “there is very little traffic” with “very few emissions” and the ban “would potentially have little overall effect on air quality //
The Ban Scam

Take a look atThis Greenpeace tweet
Spot anything wrong ?

\\Oxford set to be FIRST PLACE IN THE UK to ban petrol + diesel vehicles from city centre.(2020)
Public consultation to come //

It declares that a policy decision has ALREADY been made ... and that afterwards a consultation will be made.
Sounds like Lib-Supremicism to me ..we the masters will make the decision then have the consultation.
