- The gov did ask for a delay until after both Local and National elections.
- The US funded Eco-bully activists wanted the report immediately published.
So the headline could have also read

Good points, perhaps also to be considered:
1 When the clocks move Sunrise/Sunset is moved by 60 minutes rather than an almost imperceptible change of a few minutes each day. This make take a couple of weeks to acclimatise to.
2 Secondly when going to work I spent 25 years driving due East in the morning and due west in the evening. I used to hate the clock change GMT/BST/GMT as just as it got to the point when the Sun was well above the horizon in Spring suddenly it was back to being low and in my eyes again. The same would happen in October. How many pedestrians and cyclists are "invisible" due to a low sun, no lights and dark/light clothing?
