What is it about "settled" Climate Science that causes faith in it to change depending on the direction of the political and financial wind?
I would guess that 100% of Climate Scientists also believe in gravity, and always have done, but for some reason, no one has ever been paid to find that out.
If 97% has been reduced to 50% after only 100 days of Trump as President, and this trend continues, no Climate Scientist will have confidence in any other Climate Scientist by August, and by Christmas they will all be testifying in Court to deny their previous testimonies, and claiming to have been part of the 3%.

Both correct, both wrong.
imho [political?] Judge was wrong for ruling [alleged] air health outweighs pre-election Purdah convention.
More important: It negates purdah and allows incumbent Gov't/Council to release any health related official propaganda to support re-election.
I hope Gov't appeals and wins.

golfCharlie. meteorologists know a little about not a lot. They cannot be compared to the high priests (and priestesses) of climatology. Some of them can't even predict hurricanes a day ahead. Meteorologists are like sprinters they only see part of the racetrack, whereas long distance climate wonks see the whole stadium and pander to the whole appreciative audience.
