Stewgreen, I don't know about the Anthropocene, but with all this plastic and miniplastic floating about and getting incorporated into modern sediments, surely we should be talking about the Plasticocene, which with usage would elide into the Plasticene.
I wonder if there are certain keratin particles that sustain in the environment a long time.

You mean Trump's hair?
Should last longer than Climate Science funding ......
You mean they probably breakdown if exposed to sun and water . I.don't know
Wonder what happens when they fall into river, sea ..Narwhawl tusks must sustain
Teeth sustain quite well as well, wonder if nature is full of tooth particles ?
I don't know how long things, including tusks, last if they're exposed to sunlight and weather.
Ooh plastic breaks down into microplastics down it's dangerous
Hm some products like elephant or mammoth tusks seem to last a long time in the environment
I wonder if there are certain keratin particles that sustain in the environment a long time.
TONIGHT 9pm BBC4 : “The Great Village Green War ,
follows green energy enthusiast Robert Llewellyn’s year-long campaign to persuade the residents of a Cotswolds village to generate their own power” ..village, Temple Guiting, also features a bit in Frome
His own Twitterfeed says he's the voice over man rather than the actual campaign leader

China has been very happy to talk positively about Climate Science, as the US, EU and UK have exported more jobs there.
China never has had any intentiom of doing anything to reduce their competitiveness, by being restricted by Progressives, having disposed of Communists.
Trump intends to dispose of Progressives.
Min 3:20 "We have a SPURIOUS Paris Climate Change agreement, which no one really signed up for which doesn't change anything"
"It's meaningless ....it's not going to change anything ..even if Donald doesn't pull out of it"
Far left environmentalist Paul Kingsnorth speaking on Radio 3 Arts and Ideas 3 weeks ago
But a minute later he's stating as fact "We are going to have a 4C temperature rise"
Direct link to audio 26 Apr 2017 - Writer Paul Kingsnorth talks about his changing attitude to the environmental movement.
Assuming Trump is going to pull the plug on Paris, the howls of outrage have started.
The 97% Consensus have never raised howls of protest about the disgraceful 97% Consensus Paper, so beloved of The Guardian, Politicians, Green Blob etc, or more recently Gergis 2016, another confirmation of the dodgy science required to prove Mann's Hockey Stick.
Why should Trump, or anyone else, expect any of the highly paid liars to be honest about anything now?
ROTFLMFAO!
'Plasticene', love it.
