Informative?

Agree?

Informative yes, but I do not agree with Mark Steyn calling for the relaxation of UK gun/firearm legislation.

Another car-crash interview of Corbyn's shadow home secretary

Diane Abbott 'brain fade' on London terror report (05Jun17)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq8Dd5Sa7fI

Corbyn's and Abbott in charge of UK security is a horrendous prospect.

EM: when you drop your pompous arrogance, I will stop being noxious. (Then again, I’m not overly concerned that you will ruin my fun…)

Meanwhile, here is something more for you to enjoy yourself with, and an answer for you to ponder: if sea levels are rising because of increasing temperatures, then why are about 50% of relevant gauges showing falling sea levels? Could it be that the world is really cooling? Ooh, dear… so many paradoxes…

@Pcar talking of LibMob making stuff up to further their agenda.
@Golf you listen to Jeremy Vine
Well obviously to them it's important to get at Trump rather than get at Islamic Terrorists killing people
So important that they'll misrepresent and cheat no problem
Vine tweeted that Trump was misrepresenting a Sadiq tweet and showed something to supposed to be said tweet
Only problem is Sadiq never sent such a tweet.

In fact Trump's tweet quoted a phrase from Sadiq's video interview with Kay Burley from Sunday morning
A phrase which was both in the interview and gave the sentiment of the interview
3m00 "The is no reason to be alarmed (full stop)"
cos Sadiq also said 3m17 "London is ... THE safest big city in the world"

In Vines mocked up fake tweet he'd also added a bit to favour his narrative cos the words “by this” were not said in the interview .
Vines tweet was retweeted by 5.2K including BBC staff ..and not one commented it was Fake News

@GC
Yes, follow the money.

Note: ZH article is rewrite of paywalled FT article.

.
More news:

1. Mark Steyn: We're not being honest about the nature of the enemy

2. Slavery is Freedom: Submit to the State and be Free from Terrorism

"...The government is less concerned about stopping real terrorism than they are about making sure the masses won´t rebel against their failure to address real issues, and their unwillingness to stop preventing the people from protecting themselves.

But hey, who can blame May, she´s already out of ideas! After all, guns are already banned in Great Britain. And it totally worked, all these people were killed with vans, knives, and bombs, not guns..."

Yes, and Osama Bin Laden was financed by his family's Saudi Oil money.

The difference seems to be between "State Sponsored Terrorism" and "Money From Country X, Sponsored Terrorism"

I have no reason to doubt the ZeroHedge article you linked to. The standard approach is "follow the money". This seems to indicate that powerful state figures in Muslim countries are out to grab each other's money. This may cause blood to be shed outside the UK, USA and EU.

Unfortunately, any developments over there, will produce no benefit over here, for the foreseeable future. Our Prime Minister has given some indication of her intentions, and it is good to know that no one has quibbled about the rules of engagement provided to the UK''s Police when armed and deployed.

@Entropic man

If you and your cohorts, UN, Gov't, Politicians, activists etc are convinced fossil fuel burning CO2 emissions cause catastrophic Global Warming.

Why did you change the name from Global Warming to Climate Change?

Why do you promote burning trees which can not be replaced & grown at rate burnt?

What is wrong with allowing the atmosphere to regain the CO2 it had that unburnt fossil fuel is depriving it of?

Entropic man:

"Paul Gaston's assertion is that he checked CO2's budget and it doesn't show a surplus matching the weather budget's deficit."

But where are his numbers? Unless he can back up his assertion with checkable calculations it remains just an assertion.

I can assert that climate change is caused by leprechauns, but without a coherent and consilient mechanism plus observational evidence noone would take me seriously.

My comment was on a point of logic, not science. You originally claimed that for Gaston to exonerate CO2 he would have to explain exactly where the unexplained heat IS coming from. That claim was nonsense.

The "well all right smarty pants, you tell me how it works" defence is pretty threadbare -- not to mention unscientific -- but the climate scientists don't have much else to work with.

Re Qatar

Qataris were the first non-white people I met as a ~10 year old in 1970s.

A group of them were staying in parent's hotel whilst they were being trained on Skyvans they'd purchased from Short Brothers.

They were polite and friendly to me, staff & parents. Sent me Qatar stamps when they went home.

Now is not then.

Some news:
The Shocking Trigger Behind Today's Gulf Scandal: Qatar Paid Al-Qaeda, Iran $1BN In Hostage Deal

Not to be confused with the Obama administration secretly airlifting crates full of $1.7 billion in cash to Tehran to release five US hostages held by Iran, the FT writes that commanders of militant groups and government officials in the region told the Financial Times that "Doha spent the money in a transaction that secured the release of 26 members of a Qatari hunting party in southern Iraq and about 50 militants captured by jihadis in Syria."
