BBC 5Live 9:45am
" And now we have a guest who with a new report about how the big 6 energy corps are ripping off customers for £hundreds each year"
Guest : "That's right i'm from a brand new energy corp called Bulb Energy "
"We have great green products"
"We purchase 100% renewable electricity and 10% green gas from a number of independent, renewable generators from across the country." (their webpage)
"being smug about being green is the best kind of smug. It's great to have you!"
"big corps rip you off with loyalty fees " (really ? I can see referral agent notes within the URL of Bulb Energy tweets ..unicorns won't be paying those commissions to those agents, customers will )

Some people think the BBC is a textbook on the truth
... rather it's just an entertainment platform for BBC's mates to push their PR messages

Things you will not see on the BBC this week part 27½

The Guardian registers as a charity / not for profit in the USA (Breitbart)

I wonder if Rupert Murdoch's fleet will follow the lead?

AK

Two points, happily moving on from the BBC!

1. Like you I hope gc is OK - on holiday, I hope.

2. Ben Nevis snow free? Maybe; I haven't been to Scotland for a month, and then I was walking further east on Creag Meagaidh (where there WAS still snow, despite being much lower than Ben Nevis) and the Ben Alder range etc. I do know that in the last 2 or 3 years, snow has lasted on the Scottish hills much later than I'm used to seeing it. I don't remember the Guardian mentioning that (though I could be wrong).

The Guardian opines: Ben Nevis snowfree this summer because of climate change. Shock, horror!

Not just the BBC
Yesterday the Telegraph released a Terrorist stats article dated August 27
...No note to say that it was a re-release of an article from May 30
