Too early to be certain - but seems to have the makings of a smart meter PR catastrophe unfolding

Women 2018 suffragettes fight back against Gov't, MSM, PC & Feminazi subjugation

Freedom of choice

1. So this week two things have got feminists cheering and whooping. First, the coming together of BBC women to demand a hike in their already eye-watering levels of pay. And secondly, the erasure of the walk-on women from darts [And Formula 1 Grid Girls], the sacking, effectively, of these beautiful, usually working-class women who bring a touch of glamour to a game dominated by blokes...

...It increasingly seems that there is one kind of person who irritates the new feminists more than men do: women who don´t think or behave as feminists expect them to. Women who think for themselves. These women will be written off as suffering from `internalised misogyny´...

2. Why is it only middle class feminists who have the right to do what they want with their bodies?

3. Formula One grid girl Giorgia Davies has hit back at the so-called feminists who lobbied the motorsports industry to scrap her job, telling them they are “not defending women”.

Grid girls were scrapped by F1 shortly after the elimination of walk-on girls by the Professional Darts Corporation.

Davies, a former Miss England finalist, hit back in a combative Facebook post, writing: “I am proud of my job. I am respected. I am paid well, and I have managed to gain a professional reputation that has enabled me to make a career out of something I love.”

Unbeknown to almost everybody until today, February 1st is apparently World Hijab Day

This is one of the latest creations of the liberal feminist swamp and has its very own hashtag: #StrongInHijab

As usual, this is a day which gives rise to the most sickening displays of virtue signalling. Privileged middle-class Western feminists are lining up to display their multicultural credentials by donning a hijab as a fashionable symbol of liberation. They are willfully ignorant of the brave women in Iran and other places in the Middle East where women are literally risking their lives to remove the hijab. To them it a hated symbol of oppression.

Gallery’s Removal of Nude Painting in #MeToo Gesture Slammed as Censorship

The decision by the Manchester Art Gallery to temporarily remove a famous Victorian painting showing nude mythological creatures has been deemed “puritanical” and an act of “authoritarian moralising”.

German Women Launch Campaign Highlighting Increased Violence Against Women as a Result of Mass Migration

A group of German women have launched a campaign called #120db to lend a voice to women who have been physically or sexually attacked as a result of mass migration policies.

The Puritanical Left and the Pro Drugs, Sex, Prostitution Left combine into an evil monster forbidding enjoyment & happiness.

I used to joke Gorgon Brown wanted to tax smiling - seems more like a prophecy now.

A quick rattle of a collecting tin....

ICYMI John Cook University in Townsville, Australia (#1 in Australia) are indulging in some heavyweight academic bullying of one of their own Professor Peter Ridd - you can likely guess that he's being ganged up on by as yet unnamed "academic colleagues" who are threatening him with dismissal for offering evidenced opinions at odds with the party line.

More over at WUWT

No clues as to the identity of his accusers / persecutors at the moment - an omission that should be rectified as soon as possible - they should be debating this - not threatening to sack him. I'm wondering if there's any Lews or Flannerys lurking or somebody associated with Skeptical Science crew....

We know how poisonous the eco-loons downunder can be.

So if manufacturers don't properly warn drivers of the downsides of their expensive white elephants, I think that they should be responsible for the consequences.

I see your point, but appears like an excuse to shift blame. Are Smith & Wesson to blame when a gun owner "accidentally" shoots himself?

It is the driver's responsibility to take necessary preventative measures to ensure vehicle is safe when they choose to pilot a high speed 1.5 potential killing machine

It comes down to personal responsibility for one's actions and inactions.

Ms Tammy Langton caused the death of her friend after running out of petrol on the motorway

In a unanimous verdict, a jury found Tammy Langton, 32, of Blackheath in South East London guilty of causing death by careless driving while under the influence of drugs at Chelmsford Crown Court on Thursday (February 1).

Telford lorry driver, Anthony Cheshire, 63, was also found guilty of causing death by careless driving after he smashed into the back of Langton's car, which had run out of fuel and broken down.

By coincidence the Dicot demolition court inquest is in the paper , 4 guys died
- In a million industrial operations there will surely be deaths
so there is always an element of risk
So did wind farms kill the Didcot 4 ?
If Didcot had not closed there would not have been early demolition, those guys would be alive
I wonder if there was a politically induced hurry.

Local paper : Orsted are advertising offshore windfarm technician
your shift involves you living /working from a SOV .support offshore vessel

Another advert is “50 Shades of Magic Mike ..calling all ladies”
..sounds boring I suppose it’s a knitting workshop
about knitting your own window blinds
..The kind of practical workshop a woman would go to cos she's ditched her partner for going to one of those seedy gentlemen's nights that re now banned
the event in Liverpool tonight.
- Image shows that all that knitting makes your chest muscles strong
Today Feb1st is World Hijab Day
so at the same time as the BBC tuts at Grid Girls the BBC are promoting Hijab Girls
..they are having a show at 3pm on BBC Arabic
