If you take the subsidies out of the equation, this type of Community Project makes sense, if the Community are prepared to share any economic risk.

If it was a Fracking development, without subsidies, Greens would describe it as bribery, fraud, corruption etc.

Just think how many Accountants can be paid for pretending to resolve all those previous years of Accounts, in every EU State. It could be thousands, but until the Accounts are resolved, no one will ever know.

I expect those Accountants do know how much their Pension increase, with every year of failure.

Tesla : BBC had a big report on Saturday about how Elon Musk has boldly been the first to come out against Facebook
and remove both his corps.
Then at the end of the report the BBC's Dave Lee does emphasise an ulterior motive
"At the moment Tesla has a bit of a customer service problem
..and disgruntled customers have found they can't get a response
..The only way they been getting responses is by posting on Tesla's Facebook page,
so by getting rid of the Facebook page , Tesla have ridded themselves of this embarrassment"

Did anyone see the item the other day, not sure of what programme or channel about windturbines on Lewis?

The locals are objecting to an EDF development of 35 turbines, good I thought they've enough already, but no it wasn't that at all. Apparently a community farm of three turbines earns the island about £1million a year (not sure if Harris benefits) and they want to built said development them selves. Spread evenly between every family on Lewis will have a six figure annual income paid for in subsidies.Perhaps the Brahan Seer got it right about people returning after the black rain, all those emigrants descendants coming back to claim long deserted crofts to have a share in the booty.

@Radical Rodent I didn't put a link to that facebook discussion cos you'll just end up down the same rabbit hole as me
It's even more complex than I said
Cos I just made a simple point
"who wants to be in an org like the EU whih never signs off its books"
That resulted in a 10 post subthread
..whilst their mates continue posting new comments attacking Brexit below in the main thread
So the discussion looks like a battlefield.
...If I had started by saying "The EU audit dept never signs off it's books properly (as in account for 98% of payments)"
then that would have made the discussion shorter.
Surely no one accepts "signed off" as meaning that 4,5,6% of payments can't be accounted for is OK
Signed off to most means free of such large errors.

Such is the interchangeability of thought processes and ideas, that New Old Labour, The Guardian, and the BBC, have forgotten that Chakrabarti found on evidence of antisemitism in the Labour Party only 18 months ago.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/oct/16/jeremy-corbyn-antisemitism-chakrabarti-inquiry

"Jeremy Corbyn has come under strong personal attack from a cross-party committee of MPs investigating the growth of antisemitism for helping to create a safe space for people with “vile attitudes towards Jewish people”.

In a damning indictment of the party and its leader, the powerful home affairs select committee claims that Corbyn’s lack of action “risks lending force to allegations that elements of the Labour movement are institutionally antisemitic”. In the report, published on Sunday , Labour is said to have been “demonstrably incompetent” in dealing with incidents of anti-Jewish abuse.

An inquiry into antisemitism in Labour carried out by Shami Chakrabarti on the orders of Corbyn earlier this year is described as “ultimately compromised”. Its independence was thrown into doubt by Chakrabarti’s acceptance of a peerage and a job in the shadow cabinet, the committee writes."

So IF the Labour Party was not antisemitic then, and Chakrabarti did investigate and report honestly, what has changed since?

@pcar at 7:35am this morning BBC Radio Leeds (The context was that Leeds had a big Remain rally at weekend)
DJ @johnnyianson* was posing as an arch Remainer, in the style of Emma Barnett,
Have a Remain crib sheet in front of you then use very aggressive harassing questions to the guest
example of leading question "The Chancellor has had to put in £25bn into the economy cos it's failing cos of Brexit"

This time guest was called Richard Tice (Leave means Leave)
And actually that is fine
Except Remainer guests are never treated in the same style
So it's double standard
Twitter hardly noticed only 2 people tweeted about the piece

Pcar - be careful if you take the dog north of the border - if Thought Police Scotland see any dog raising a paw they might prosecute the owner for hate crime.

The BBC spent a lot of Taxpayer's money campaigning for Remain, but the BBC have not reported on that either.

One could think the state funded media were biased and had an agenda, but no Ofcom say they are balanced and impartial. Must be true as europhiles, left, SJWs and AK incessantly insist.

However, I have doubts. One example being BBC QT has zero or one Brexit supporter on panel vs five remainers week after week.

Must go, dog has lifted his paw and expects a doggy biscuit now or he'll dial 999 and report me for hate crime.
