are conveniently overlooked - no?

Once you told me the important bits, I knew I would have to watch the whole thing or none of it, as your judgement is not reliable. I watched all none of it, whilst doing something more pressing.

Credit for speaking truth now. Shame he didn't ever say "I should have..."; always "we" "them" "us".
Absolving himself by blaming others for not speaking out is cowardice.

Fine. So why did Tommy Robinson attempt to blow-up the trial, and delay or ruin Justice for the Defendants and Witnesses?
"All of which means TR was in the wrong, even if we need to rethink our society’s attitude to minorities, Islam and a million and one other things. People who like our mixed up society the way it is, will use the Tommy Robinsons of our society to justify the madness and more. Labour in particular feed on any hint that a minority might be oppressed by a majority. Their success is due to everyone being in some way a minority.
We need change but TR moves us back as often as he moves us forward. Can we stop debating him now?"

Signing off - bed time.

@golf charlie,
Keep banging on about Contempt, Breach of Peace, Victims and ignore Ezra's broadcast, Trevor Philips, Sarah Champion, Spiked-Online et al; your choice. However, condemning as bilious, contemptible, hateful those who disagree with you is not productive.
As tomo asked: @GC - as far as blowing up a trial is concerned the activities of Mohan Sing at Leeds (and elsewhere) are conveniently overlooked - no?

I don't doubt either yours or Tim's experience. I have always been careful to avoid any overtly religious employment opportunities in the ME - I almost always inspected what I was getting into. Some companies require all foreign workers to attend prayers!
As far as I'm concerned "the beards" aren't worth the hassle - they're usually like a twisted version of a 1970s British Leyland shop steward.
Intolerance in many Moslem counties can be quite oppressive - but being in a priveliged occupation often allows one to swerve that. The elites in many Muslim counties often swerve the strictures of Islam in quite a debauched fashion.

Tommy has succeeded brilliantly in highlighting the issue. With petitions and mass protests in this country and widespread attention in America, Canada and Australia, and probably elsewhere. Not bad for an "idiot".
+1
That being Tommy's prime objective: stop covering up, hiding, excusing crimes by one of two demographic groups aka protected violent criminal minorities.
He is endangering himself to protect others.

In Northern Ireland 25 years ago, if you were asked your religion would you think they asked in order that they could offer suitable directions to the nearest appropriate kirk?
Rarely asked, much more subtle: name, school, maybe church/party. More to do with trust and avoiding arguments. Road I lived on was 65% P, 35% RC and no problems.
"kirk"? Whut?

Tommy was jailed for expressing his opinion in less vitriolic language.

No he wasn't.

1. How? Trial is over, jury retired to deliberate: http://causelist.org/leeds/T20187130/
2. Well done for admitting.

Thank you for admitting that you still do not understand why Tommy Robinson is in prison.
Why don't you borrow Tommy Robinson's new book, when he has finished colouring it in?

You could take this stunning revelation to his Legal Team, they just won't believe that someone missed it before.
Or you could do some reading and work it out for yourself. You may even find the answer on this Blog, more than once, and not just from me.

This is going to play havoc if they set out to implement it across the board....
Not difficult at all to imagine a similarly drafted set of guidelines for dealing with climate deniers or energy realists - fined and even locked up by the eco activist judiciary we know are out there....
