Can I refer you to my post here? Jun 5, 2018 at 1:36 AM | golf charlie

Delingpole has confirmed the legal fact that you are consistently wrong with your legal facts.

"Golf I have never read Guido's page on the topic, (It's snarly & nasty from the first glance) , but I was watching him tweet"

So you have made an idiot of yourself, because you didn't read something, but attacked me because of your assumptions about what might have been written by somebody else?

stewgreen, you ARE a Legal Liability (and your style is snarly & nasty from the first and second glances)

Have you seen Guido's cartoon now? It won't take long to read.

And here endeth any interest in Bishop Hill. You're like children who will not concede and just repeat the same views endlessly.

It is refreshing to read that a Tommy Robinson supporter is not quibbling about the Law, Facts, Evidence, prior warnings, imprisonment etc or that he has no one else to blame apart from himself.

With those easily verifiable issues not being disputed .........

Esther Rantzen and That's Life featured child sex abuse by teachers in schools in 1986, and provided a phone number for children to ring. They did. That led to Childline. Esther Rantzens repeated message was that you must listen to the children.

The accounts were not just about seedy looking dirty old men in failing state schools. They included respected gentlemen in posh private boarding schools, that have now closed as a result.

It was not until about 10(?) years ago that children/adults with a background in Care Homes, Prisons, drugs, prostitution etc were finally listened to, by Social Workers, Lawyers, Police and Courts as they gave evidence. About 5(?) years ago, "they" finally listened to victims accusing predominently Asian men. (I have no idea whether any of the witnesses/victims in these cases fall into any of these descriptions.)

My concern about Delingpole's article is his omission to mention the rights of the victims/witnesses to a fair trial, aswell as the Defendants. As UK Law is finally doing something, Robinson keeps trying to make it go backwards again.

So no significant issues with what Delingpole writes, only with what he hasn't mentioned about Robinson's actions and their consequences.

I had originally noted the inconsistency between Robinson being arrested for "Breach of the Peace" and charged with "Contempt of Court". When I came across the Secret Barrister article he had explained this inconsistency. I admitted it here and credited the Secret Barrister.

Golf you can't just keep taking in an attitude with me
I asked you
\\ @Golf is on about something I said about Guido's cartoon
So far Golf you have misrepresented me on that
Maybe you can quote what I actually, said please. //

You didn't answer .. my words were on 28/05/2018
I first said

Wow Guido has lost the plot
He's sitting their throwing insults at Tommy Robinson

Guido always anti-Ukip ...but now he's behaving like Anti-fa

@Pcar amplified my words
I then said
@Golf you look ridiculous saying Guido has NOT lost the plot
It is not about whether TR is guilty or not
It's about Guido throwing insults around in his post and at all who challenge him on Twitter.
(I had not expected you to take the hump at my wording)
You replied
Go back and read the words on Guido's cartoon, and come back and explain Contempt of Court.
Then explain to me why you think I am being ridiculous.
Golf I have never read Guido's page on the topic, (It's snarly & nasty from the first glance) , but I was watching him tweet
And I see is him suddenly become really nasty
lashing out calling people "knuckle draggers" etc.
That often happens with the libmob; they (like Prospero ?) build up a monsterised image of a Political foe and take that as licence to become worse than that monster themselves, cos they have picked up a holy lance to fight this thought monster.
You see people saying that all Tories, all Ukip are Nazis, ad that they never will be friends with any of them.
They form this black and white view , absolutely firm
..
But we know real life is full colour complex and that you shouldn't jump to conclusions based on emotion
If information is lacking then a full spectrum of things could have happened.

But, no that monsterised behaviour is what I saw from Guido
..him lashing out with sneering and smear instead of logical argument.

Sorry that is not a way for anyone to behave
If Diane Abbot does something stupid, you don't first do a cartoon being nasty to her, you first explain what mistake she made.. then you or a commenter might mock her weight problem.
The idea that TR is some kind of thick buffoon is just nasty.. he is written books and often sacrificed his own safety for what he believes in e.g. meeting that kid who wanted to kill him.

When you weren't there at a complex event, it becomes very difficult to judge ..I'd like to see the actual Reporting Restrictions and the judgement and more before I form a fixed belief, but I have never seen anyone present the Reporting Restrictions.

Today a video maker said
\\ I’ve changed sides, after the judgement I was with the judge, but now I’ve seen these double standards I’ve changed my mind.. I didn't realise there were existing videos that already aired the same info
.. I now don't agree with the judges words that TR's video “cannot be anything other than something that would be HIGHLY prejudicial to the court proceedings” //
(yes I can see that TR was not there intending to whip up a hatey mob or anything
and it's no use asserting that there was ZERO public reporting of the case, cos the court record sites were publishing the schedule outline of the days.
As for the judge being infallible, the Kent case didn't seem sound to me.

I always believe in proportionality. So more criticism has to be laid at the authorities that sat on their hands for 10+ years

It's wrong to portray TR's lot as nasty.
These days Antifa are the angry hatey mob wearing black masks & throwing smoke bombs and getting arrested
Why should I join a baying mob sneering at TR, when all the facts have not yet emerged ?
That looks like social bullying to me, when people signal 'You can't be a friend of mine unless you shout hate at TR'

I do not question any of your ideas! I last bought and used a Train Ticket to travel from Hampshire to Waterloo, and then on to London Excell for the 2017 Boat Show.

I have used trains occasionally to travel to one-off bits of work in London, but have never used a Season Ticket. The ridiculous industrial action on South East Trains concerning who can press a button to open a door, or something, has caused many to lose confidence in trains as a reliable and convenient means of transport.

The idea that Trades Unions would exploit any issue to wreak havoc remains perfectly plausible.

I have never understood how privatising Trains and Railway Tracks as separate companies, without any incentive to co-operate towards improved customer service was supposed to work.

Mussolini did at least get Italian trains to run on time, and when I was there 10 years ago, they still did. Whether the economics of Italian Railways are better or worse than the rest of Italy, I have no idea.

By 1945, there was not much left of French German and Italian Railways. They needed complete reconstruction. The UK patched repaired through the war, rest of the 1940s, 50s to the present day.

I am glad I do not rely on trains in the UK

Perhaps Delingpole has the balance about right:

Talking of responsibilities (GC), I wonder who should carry the can for the cock-up over new train timetables? Grayling is being crucified in the HoC for not taking responsibility for it and the BBC, as ever, manage to find a cancer sufferer who has been severely inconvenienced by it all.

I have to believe that the rail companies game-played the new timetables and ran them through computer models (cough), but my conspiricist antennae quivers at the idea that the unions would find it to their (Labour) advantage to disrupt the timetables as a way of promoting Corbyn's claims that only a publicly-owned railway can deliver what the public (ie: Labour) wants.

I really think there is more to this than meets the eye.

stewgreen, do you understand Legal Liability, and do you have your own appropriate insurance, if no Employer does?

The experts that helped create the Grenfell Tower fire, are beginning to realise that they cannot absolve themselves by blaming and accusing others, through their own ignorance.

Justice has occurred today in the trial of a young female Moslem terrorist. Reporting Restrictions were (I believe) observed, until lifted today, so there can be no grounds for claims of interference.

You go figure it out for yourself.

SG. Oakland and San Francisco are as different as can be. Oakland is predominantly black (whereas San Francisco is white and asian (with both China and Japan Towns)). This makes a very different setting to any story involving race relations.

Cuadrilla has just reported a $5.2m profit for this last year, after it's opening up of the fracking wells triggered a payment from Centrica of $13.7m.
It declared a $11.7m loss previous year.
