Your progression over Brexit mirrors my own. I voted reluctantly for Brexit, on the basis that on balance it seemed the better of 2 not great options. Since then, I am increasingly confident I voted the right way, and the illiberal and anti-democratic behaviour of the determined pro-EU lobby, combined with the disgraceful behaviour of the EU negotiating team and the obviously failing nature of the EU project all make me more determined that Brexit should happen.
Not that, even now, I'm a Brexit obsessive - I wouldn't march for it, for instance; but if the will of the majority is thwarted by anti-democratic forces, then I would be prepared to march - in defence of democracy.

I wonder why the Aquarius sailed to Spain to off load the 600 migrants has France not got Mediterranean ports? Perhaps Cannes and Marseille are a little bit too posh.

There’s an interesting story on France24.com: “Macron backs sanctions on EU states that refuse migrants.”
Sanctions,eh? I wonder what Viktor Orbán and others in the Visigrad group will think of that.

I just liked the novelty of waste plastic being integrated into roadfill.. I saw crushed glass used as an anti-slip additive a while back. Some people are already recycling thermoplastics into fenceposts and bollards of assorted sizes.
The fashion for colour coded bits of road is costing taxpayers a fortune - those pink, blue and light brown bus lanes and cycle way markings etc are as I understand it several times more expensive than standard black tarmac...
The most common structural plastics are I think quite inert as far as biological effects are concerned.

@Tomo Magic Solutions always come with magic flaws
The idea is that plastic is evil, cos it degrades into tiny particles
-->air-->airways ... alleged COULD be harmful
or --> waterways-->foodchain ... alleged COULD be harmful
If you put the plastic into the road substrate it will suffer abrasion and therefore will give off particles
Plastic is not a nature thing, so there's no evolution against it.
But nature itself is a battlefield ..and the natural failure rate of organisms is huge
If you release 100 Bambis into a world with plastic in it, is the failure rate that much higher ?

Mark Hodgson, I have shifted from on balance, vote Brexit, to Brexit absolutely definitely.
The dire warnings have not materialised, and the EU keeps proving it is worse at EVERYTHING than anybody first thought, apart from ignoring criticism, arrogance and self confidence. The fraud and corruption continues with decisions being dictated by an elite few, including Selmayr who has never been elected.
Merkel and Macron have a fragile hold on their own national positions. Both are in power through unusual coalitions, that are not as reliable as they seem. If either should fall or stumble with Merkel under immediate threat at home AND in the EU for her role in manufacturing the "Migrant Crisis", I am not sure where the EU goes next.
Has the EU ever admitted a mistake? None of them seem to accept that Trump is still in power, and maybe for another term.
Trump has put the interests of the USA first. The EU could not care what their citizens think, so why should EU citizens care about the EU?

Look on the bright side, we could have had the future of the US, UK and EU decided by Clinton and Juncker, whilst doing Soros sponsored push -ups in breweries, anytime, anyplace, anywhere, being cheered on by Radical Muslim extremists celebrating their takeover of incapacitated unaccountable dictatorships.
Instead we have the possibility of Soros funded "Rescue Ships" being threatened with seizure, and the arrest of all on board for people-smuggling in any EU Port from Italy eastwards. This leaves France and Spain, but includes the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Gibraltar as a pro-EU bit of Europe could be persuaded to change its mind with a few thousand migrants with nowhere to go, and Portugal will not want the Algarve ruined as a source of income.
Catalonia includes Barcelona, and that bit of Spain is not too happy with Spain or the EU at the moment, so just how many migrants can Spain absorb without French and German assistance?
Aid Agencies, Charities and NGOs generally have done a lot to discredit themselves recently. If some of their senior executives on 6 figure salaries get arrested for people smuggling, the brilliant support of volunteers and donors for genuine emergencies may dry up.
Some of these migrants have put themselves through great hardship to get to the southern and eastern coastlines of the Mediterranean, because they have been promised a new life. Is Soros going to pay for them to go back to where they started, or are Merkel and Macron going to foot the bill?
