If you want a scandal, why is it that some of these cases go back so many years? Why have the victims been ignored by the UK's Justice system for so long? Irrespective of their colour race politics or creed, there are some others who should stand trial, for incompetence.

Don't mix up the Leeds and Kent case
In the Kent case being off the courts steps would have made TR certainly innocent
The judge decided in that case that outside the main door and down the steps leading to the street constituted "court precincts" ..which as in turns out are the words used in the law, but not defined.
The Leeds case was different, the normal rules apply about "court precincts", but also extra "Reporting restrictions", which we guess included not reporting the court proceedings.

each report seemed to feature a new shot of the day of the accused and his wife leaving court
On different days she was trying to obscure her face, both tried to cover their faces, both faces were visible.
People in the jury's family would have seen these reports.
I have not seen any info that says that broadcasting people leaving the Leeds court was illegal, their identities were not secret and had already been published.
I believe TR was intended on reducing prejudicial info ..ie the MSM seem to have reduced coverage of certain types of accused eg Muslims , white establishment figures like Jimmy Savile, whilst over covering people on they don't like.

We all know that this is a typical EU bully boy ploy - if you don't vote they way they like - then you had better try again see! It is an aside of sorts from the TR business - but related.
The cover up of the systematic predation of children by organised gangs from a particular background was never going to be tidy - what is clear is that many of the perps are unrepentant -that- and the justification many have for their actions is rarely addressed..
I recall Mrs May's professed enthusiasm for Sharia courts when Home Secretary and wonder at the confluence of thesecretbarrister's attitude and that displayed by many Sharia courts wrt to interactions with a kāfir population.
I feel that there is an attempt going on to square the circle (wholesale understatement) that goes beyond the narrow matter of contempt of court and seems absolutely intended to promulgate chaos. The thought experiment of swapping the religion and country is a relevant thing to do.....
It'll be interesting to hear + see what Anjem Chowdury and chums / sponsors get up to. The British establishment's pandering to political Islam seems even worse informed and thought through than their handling of the EU question (if that's possible)

He was arrested for Breach of the Peace (which may include the prevention of further Breaches)
Had other media broken reporting restrictions, whilst serving a Suspended Sentence with specific restrictions?

Re-read the last few days of posts about Tommy Robinson. Where were you sourcing your wrong information, law, assumptions and evidence from?
Robinson set out to whip up a storm of outrage, whilst on a suspended sentence for a previous failed attempt. He had been warned of the consequences if he reoffended. What do you think Robinson is Not Guilty of, and what has been vindictive?

Why should I be embarrassed? Media: Indy, Locals, Breitbart, Fox, Rebel... were all fighting it - one of had to be named in R vs MSM. Notable was absence of BBC & Guardian.

GC, evidence that TR was trying to stir up street protest based on his actual statements? Or that street protests are not legal to stir up? Or that he has made false statementss about Islam in the UK. His main offence seems to be he won't shut up about a problem the establishment would rather have kept quiet, as if we will not notice if it is not mentioned.
