Tribunal Dates

This is a guest post by David Holland

BH readers may recall that I reported here that Tom Osborn had jumped the gun at CLB suggesting that I had not appealed the First Tier Tribunal decision to uphold the Met Office refusal to disclose the AR4 ZODs.

On Monday afternoon, 29 February if any BH readers are in London with nothing better to do they might look in at Field House, 15 Breams Building, EC4A 1DZ, before 2 pm to hear my oral request to the Upper Tribunal that it grant me permission to appeal.  I might also mention that my appeal to the Upper Tribunal on the University of Cambridge refusal to disclose Peter Wadhams RE report is also listed to be heard at Field House at 10:30 am on 15 April.

Good luck on this important issue.

It is disgusting that something paid for by the public purse is not freely available to the public who have had to foot the bill for it.

Davod,

yes, I noted the possibility of an appeal at the end of my CLB article:

Although appeals can be made to an upper tribunal, there may be no grounds for appeal and there is a time limit. It seems likely that this decision will bring to a close this and related cases

All the best, David Holland.
And seeing as it's a leap-year day, who knows... you may get a result!

Good luck David, and I hope that you get a fair hearing. If you know the names of the judges, it may be worth googling them to see what causes, charities etc they are associated with! In my case, it turned up some very interesting results, but too late to be useful during the hearing.

Thanks Tony,

I have read the some the Judge's decisions and he is a different league to the one I am appealing. I am reassured by the fact he does not have a glossy website like http://www.hughesinterim.co.uk/.
