Jun 1, 2015 Climate: WG3
The papal encyclical on the environment looks to be imminent. According to this page it should be with us in a couple of weeks' time.
I can hardly wait.

So it will be published on June 16th?
It will be interesting to see how many "responses" to the encyclical are written by the 15th.
1 million extra winter deaths have occurred since James Hansen turned of the cooling in the Senate and lied about "manmade" causes of the small increase in temperature. Only in one year have the number of additional summer deaths been high enough to record and that was 2300 in 2003.
There have not been climate refugees, instead population has grown. Indeed the increasing world harvests can be directly attributed to the benefits of rising CO2.
The morality is clear: CO2 is a benefit, cold is a killer and so there is only one conclusion for any Christian: the Pope is doing the devil's work.
Good luck.
I think PayPal is quite useful.
Papal political weight greatly diminished since hateful reaction to Irish gay marriage referendum.
The trouble is that millions of people world wide, will take what is written as Good's word.
I see the parallel with other marketing gimmicks like solar-powered planes.
and we should care why?
Omnilogos, 'hateful reaction'? Link, please!
My advice to the Pope on thinking up a new rule to follow - 'so, how are the first ten rules working for you?'

All the greenies who will ask me to follow the Pope on climate and the environment will first have to show evidence that they follow the Pope on matters such as abortion and gay marriage. I'm Roman Catholic myself, but not a slave to the clergy, and can't follow what is blatantly absurd especially if stranger to the core of the Faith.
And I'm with omnologos.
