Climate Control coverage
The Voice of Russia has covered the Montford/Shade report on climate change education in schools...
Andrew Montford, blogger and author of a new report on climate change in education, says children in England and Scotland are being brainwashed over climate change. He blames the United Nations for setting an agenda which has been blindly adopted in schools. VoR's Scott Craig asked him to explain
as has James Delingpole at Breitbart.
British schoolchildren are being brainwashed by a deep green environmental curriculum which fills their heads with "confusion, ignorance and fear", says a new study by the Global Warming Policy Foundation.
Here's Tony Thomas in Quadrant.
The affair suggests a similar independent inquiry into “climate teaching” in Australian schools would be worthwhile. Anecdotal accounts of brainwashing by activists masquerading as teachers in our primary and secondary schools are legion.

I'm holding my breath waiting for that VoR article to get a mention in the Guardian and Independent. ;-)
Interesting conflict with the new child protection "Cinderella Law". Wonder how teachers will cope?

'Cinderella Law' as applied to teaching about global warming..?
'Oh, yes there is...'
'Oh, no there isn't...'
So glad to see this covered. UNESCO has admitted it has created this curriculum on the environment in its capacity as "Task Manager of Chapter 36 of Agenda 21. It also states that it has been addressing education reform with "renewed vigor" since 2002. UNESCO's stated aim is "the educational strategies and action plans at all levels and sectors of education in all countries."
It's why I find so much consistency in education reform all over the world. My book, Credentialed to Destroy: How and Why Education Became a Weapon, details in its Conclusion all the links between what the OECD calls Green Growth and these education plans using papers from the OECD and UNEP and the UK-based New Economics Foundation. It also cites the link between Mott MacDonald's work for the UN entities and the OECD and its acquisition of Cambridge Education to help drive these reforms in schools and classrooms. Cambridge began doing the same work in the US in 2007 as the recommendation of Sir Michael Barber.
In recent days in my posts on my blog, Invisible Serfs Collar, I have been detailing the links between Adaptation as described in Chapter 20 of the new IPCC report as personal transformation and these education reforms. It also details the IHDP shift to have the social sciences and their theories supplant natural sciences and their focus on reality as the drivers of future normative policies.
Great time for this report to come out as pedagogy and education are now considered by political schemers to be the "ultimate interdisciplinary social science" to drive designed global change.
Now, sorry for that, but I don't think that being on The Voice of Russia is something to be proud of. Especially now, when Russian media is ALL nationalist state propaganda that can easily put to shame both Goebbels and the environmentalists combined...
There is a certain irony in the story of a new review of climate change propaganda in UK schools being picked up by the Russian state's international radio propaganda outlet. Presumably this means the story will be diligently ignored by the Guardian, Independent and BBC. Not that they ever publish propaganda of course (well, unless its the right sort of propaganda).
Yes, thinkingscientist, it's certainly not gonna help
Children never take anything they are taught by adults seriously. We were taught Religious Instruction and knew what answers to write down, but that didn't make us believers.
It is very valuable to expose the intent of the Green/Left to indoctrinate children into the "correct" way of thinking, but I am optimistic that most children are smarter than adults think, or at least less interested in ingesting adult dogma.
Bish. I seem to remember the judgement handed down subsequent to the inquiry into Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth'.
I believe it stated that wherever one side of a political argument was put to school children the opposing view had to be given equal coverage.
I don't know if the judge was quoting from the Education Act but, if he wasn't, this requirement should be embedded within the Law.
"I don't think that being on The Voice of Russia is something to be proud of"
Neither is being in the Guardian or the Independant or on the BBC. I mean, the SKS kids run the Guardian. Ick.
Coverage of British court ruling on Gore's propaganda piece is here:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7037671.stm
And apparently the Driving Theory Test contains questions on how to reduce CO2 emissions.
Bishop what is the age range demographic for this blog and Skeptic blogs generally?
Any Data on students and school kids logging onto Climate Change Skeptic sites and comment sections when studying either doing their own AGW research or for official School Climate Change Homework?
Russian state propaganda outlets in English generally promote "concern" over shale gas, as they see it as a potential threat to Russia's market. E.g.: http://voiceofrussia.com/uk/news/2014_03_13/National-Trust-pledges-support-for-frack-free-zones-in-Britain-3346/
However, they're keen to have a go at Greenies as well, since they want to drill in the Arctic. Continue to drill in the Arctic , I should say.
So they'll pooh-pooh climate change while highlighting various other "concerns" about fracking etc , stopping short of raving petroleophobia. Notice they've upped the ante on the old-hat "controversial" by commonly referring to fracking as "HIGHLY controversial".
Match that if you dare, BBC!
I think the other reason is their propaganda channels want to show everything that is bad in the western society. For them this is probably just to show how corrupt and rotten is the western education system
Maybe they're right about our state education system.

How long will it be before a politician or a mainstream media pundit says that we need a Cinderella Law in order to stop "Deniers" from abusing their children by not warning them about the perils of climate change?
More from BreitBart. Any other media covering this?
Teachers Breaking the Law Over Climate Change Bias Says Gove Spokesman: http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-London/2014/04/08/Teachers-Acting-Illegally-Over-Climate-Change
He said: “The Secretary of State read this report with concern. Ministers are clear that the new national curriculum must equip young people with the core knowledge they need to understand the weather, climate, the earth’s atmosphere, physical geography and the interaction between nature and the environment.
"That means in both science and geography, pupils must learn the facts and processes which underpin public discussion of climate change. They must be equipped with the scientific knowledge to make their own judgments about political responses. They must not be directed towards a particular campaigning agenda.
“Schools should not teach that a particular political or ideological point of view is right – indeed it is against the law for them to do so. Great care should be exercised to make sure information provided to students is scientifically rigorous. It is important that any material used in the classroom is rooted in science, not driven by the aims of a campaign.”
A google news search shows it is also at Canada Free Press,
New Report Reveals Green Brainwashing In UK Schools
"London: A new report published today by the Global Warming Policy Foundation is calling for Michael Gove, the Secretary of State for Education, to institute an official inquiry into the way environmentalism and in particular climate change are being taught in schools.
In the report, authors Andrew Montford and John Shade describe how environmentalism has come to permeate school curricula across the UK, featuring in an astonishing variety of subjects, from geography to religious education to modern languages. Passing examinations will now usually involve the ability to recite green mantras rather than understanding the subtle questions of science and economics involved...."
