UKIP's second MP

So UKIP, the only political party in Britain that seems willing to question the sanity of energy or climate change policy, has got itself a second MP. How much has their stance on these issues played a part in their recent success?

I'm not political but I really think the tweet and subsequent fallout could hammer the Labour party. Why not just insult a big chunk of your traditional voters? Reading Guardian comments on it and it shines brightly how many of the posters are snobs you just look down on everything they disagree with. The amount if spin saying the image doesn't mean what it obviously did is unreal. There also seems to be a largely held view that the paper should try and make the party try and look good when I thought they were Liberal supporters.

There seems to be a lot of people who still don't understand why UKIP are popular. Come election time I'm sure they will grab a lot of Tory and Labour votes. I'm not sure who Liberals will switch to. Some will go Green but perhaps a chunk of them will vote UKIP too.

Now that I'm a UKIP PPC (Pudsey), the energy issue is going to get a bit more of a push.

Well, he, or at least his party, knows he is only going to get my vote if he retains the policies on climate change, especially the repeal of CCA 2008, because I emailed them a few days ago to say so!
