Book reviews
Sep 18, 2013 Books
Does anyone fancy writing a book review for me? I have a few titles queued up, which I am going to struggle to get to in the near future. There's nothing technical.
Drop me a line if you'd like a shot.
OK, got four people up for the two jobs, so that's fine. Feel free to offer your services for future titles if you want though.

Have some free 'team ' book reviews
I have not read it but its clearly rubbish as I do not like the person who wrote it .
or
I have read it and although I cannot quote you any mistakes , take my word its it full of them.
or
Its wonderful book from cover to cover , clearly the author is genius, just don't ask me to tell you what they wrote .
or
I got to talk this up or the 'fat Mann' will come around to visit and the last time that happened they kicked the dog , frighted the wife and it took a week to get rid of them.
KNR, I saw just today this posting on Lucia's site:
Boris, being a farely rampant warmist, wasn't about to read something that he might have disagreed with!
Curious what the book was.
Don't know about reviewing books, but I've just fallen on a rather unsurprising 'state-the-blindingly-obvious' report by the Centre of Policy Studies (regarded as a centre-right British policy think tank) on BBC bias dated Aug 2013. The surprise in it, to me, is a list of think tanks arranged in left-leaning to right-leaning order. It includes the Global Warming Policy Foundation, which is placed squarely in the left field sandwiched between the socialist 'Fabian Society' and the 'Centre for European and Social Inclusion'!

Probably never even looked at it, assuming left wing because of 'global warming' in the title!
Time Flannery has been given the boot, sanity is returning to Oz.
Shame about the UK.

Unfortunately those words -
"Staff at the commission would be re-assigned".
begging the question where and doing what?
Or is it simply another case of musical chairs as in the so-called 'bonfire of the quangos' in the uk!!
But at least I can't see them getting away with 're-assigning' Tim Flannery, no doubt as someone suggested he will get a plum role in one of the NGOs or be like our politicians and pick up very lucrative 'consultancy' roles despite his dismal track record!
