Most of my life I have avoided inferring that someone is a "prick" as generally the real thing is of great use to the person to whom it is attached. In fact it is essential.

So to compare a most useful item with the above individual is surely an offence to the genuine anatomical article.

You do wonder when the loudest voices on CO2 will realise that they’re part of the ‘we’ who ‘must cut CO2 rapidly’. Up to now they’ve excused their CO2 footprints as essential to getting the message out. Well WE GOT THE MESSAGE NOW SHOW US HOW IT’S DONE!!!

I know the Catholic Church has always been pretty hypocritical about sinning but at least the Pope never rode to Mass on the backs of naked prostitutes. Some warmists liken climate scepticism to offences worse than paedophilia but don’t bat an eyelid when their warmist clergy regularly offend.

This is not the only kind of flight which appeals to Sir David. In Moscow he fled from a conference, presumably in shame, anger, and embarrassment at his own incompetence:
