Ah, but it is ultimately the UK taxpayers who have been funding his lavish life-style and thus it is the UK taxpayers who must reduce their emissions so that he can have a well-deserved holiday.
This is the man who suggested that the Russian security services could be behind Climategate! (http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/climate-change/climate-emails-hacked-by-spies-1885147.html)
This is the person who seemed to be incapable of arguing the AGW case in Russia and stormed off (http://www.ilovemycarbondioxide.com/letters/Butler_letter_31032008.pdf)!
Given that Gore owns an expensive property by the sea and a CO2 producing cruise boat, is anyone surprised by the hypocritical behaviour of these people.
Most of my life I have avoided inferring that someone is a "prick" as generally the real thing is of great use to the person to whom it is attached. In fact it is essential.
So to compare a most useful item with the above individual is surely an offence to the genuine anatomical article.
And it suggests that the above individual actually does serve a beneficial function.

You do wonder when the loudest voices on CO2 will realise that they’re part of the ‘we’ who ‘must cut CO2 rapidly’. Up to now they’ve excused their CO2 footprints as essential to getting the message out. Well WE GOT THE MESSAGE NOW SHOW US HOW IT’S DONE!!!
I know the Catholic Church has always been pretty hypocritical about sinning but at least the Pope never rode to Mass on the backs of naked prostitutes. Some warmists liken climate scepticism to offences worse than paedophilia but don’t bat an eyelid when their warmist clergy regularly offend.
And the public barely react to this hypocrisy. Weird.
Invision Air are an Indian private jet company operating in India. I'm sure Sir David's conscience is clear as they operate a carbon offset programme...
Not a single one of the eco hypocrites has signed up for my Eco Colony in Siberia.
I can't understand why - they could live out a Bronze Age life without being assailed with the satanic, fossil-fuel burning amenities of the modern age.
This is what happens to good little boffins who do what they are told. Roger Pielke has a few things to say about science advisors. They are little more than bimbos. No one cares about science. Scientists are the voles of politics.

Also, can we commence drawing a line between 'private' and 'chartered.' Each of us may one day consider a seat on a chartered aircraft, depending on both how we value time and the apparent urgency of our trip.
'Cutting back's only for the little people, dontcha know - after all, they're used to it.
Myself, I've never cut back in my life and I don't intend to start now. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a plane to catch ...hope they haven't forgotten the beluga and the champers ... yum ... '
This is not the only kind of flight which appeals to Sir David. In Moscow he fled from a conference, presumably in shame, anger, and embarrassment at his own incompetence:
And thirdly, when the more or less normal work of the seminar was restored and when the opportunity for discussion presented itself, when questions on professional topics were asked, and being unable to answer these questions, Mr. King and other members of the delegation turned to flight, as happened this morning when Mr. King, in an unprecedented incident, cut short his answer to a question in mid-sentence, realizing that he was unable to answer it, and left the seminar room. It is not for us to give an assessment to what happened, but in our opinion the reputation of British science, the reputation of the British government, and the reputation of the title "Sir" has sustained heavy damage.

Perhaps it is an electric (coal-fired) aeroplane.

Give the degenerate hypocrite a break - he's attending important meetings aimed at stopping us from doing the stuff that he's doing.
I can never remember; is the word spelt "prig" or "prick"?

From his attire , and the aircraft ( Embraer) I suspect this was for a vital carbon reduction meeting in Brazil.
Can't see a link in this post, but I think this is it:
