Well sampled science - Josh 209

Apologies for the lack of cartoons this month but I have been snowed under (!) with the day job. Even sadder when the Climate Blogosphere has had so much hilarious material on offer. This cartoon was inspired by Steve McIntyre's posts on the Marcottian redating of cores. How do they get away with this stuff?

Good to have you back! Let's hope you'll have enough for next year's calendar.

Magnificent! The stratotype core for the 'cause' transgression.

Bravo to the coreographer.

Cor - it's so nice to have you back - I thought you had been head-hunted.

The "Team" just provide so many opportunities for cartoon parody.

Wonderful sense of humour, Josh - and thank you.

There must be small rings for every event where a paper or claim went down in flames and the ashes encircled the globe. (you could call them bomb spikes or something)

Stossel Show: Schmidt, Spencer, & Ridley on Global Warming

March 27th, 2013 by Roy W. Spencer, Ph. D.

John Stossel interviewed me and Gavin Schmidt yesterday at the FoxNews studios in Manhattan, and I’m told he will interview Matt Ridley today, for tomorrow nights Stossel Show (9 p.m. EDT Thursday, March 28, Fox Business Channel) entitled “Green Tyranny”. As is often the case, the show might air on FoxNews Channel once or twice this weekend.

SwissBob, Stossel's show is available on the Fox Business site a few days after it airs. It isn't there yet.

But for those who don't get Fox the past shows are well worth looking at. Stossel is the epitome of liberatarianism. He's unique on TV AFAIK.

I've been waiting for this ever since Marcotte and, looking at that core sample, it's been a long time. Thanks Josh bloody great again.

How do they get away with this stuff?

Thanks to people like you, Bish, SteveM, Anthony W etc etc , they don't.

A beautiful cartoon. If you take into account soil compaction, the debunk-free life time of a warmist paper seems to be declining...
