Will there be a video or internet link?

Ahem, and good luck with that - I hope it goes well.

That's a motley crew if ever I saw one...
...And the Wiki has a rather apt description for motley...
"Traditionally, a motley crew who in the course of a story comes into conflict with an organised, uniform group of characters, will prevail. This is generally achieved through the narrative utilising the various specialties, traits and other personal advantages of each member to counterbalance the (often sole) specialty of a formal group of adversaries."

It was certainly video'd last year, so I guess so.

I am seriously tempted. I could also visit the dozens of cousins and nieces/nephews around Heidelberg. Hmmmmm . . . . considering.

I hope you can have a good chat with Henrik Svensmark.

Just idle chat - is there a particular presentation you are looking forward to Bishop?

I won't be going, but Chris Horner's "Covering their tracks: the IPCC and transparency" is sure to be an entertaining affair. Horner is at his best when covering this sort of thing.

The person figuring under 'Ahem' ... :

May we hope that you'll find an opportunity to thank Mr Svensmark for his work and his tenacity, and wish him continuing good health?

I mean - you can't be talking about climate all the time ...!

Did anyone else miss-read that as IKEA conference, for a moment I was a little nonplussed :)

A vile bunch of fossil-fuel funded deniers!
Winky, wink!

@Eddy

I wonder what an IKEA conference would be like? All I can imagine is that you are trapped there for hours wandering around trying to find the way out.

;)

Heh, GSW, the human condition; trapped for decades wandering around trying to find the way out.

I'm told a registration form will be available in the future - so keep checking in at EIKE from time to time.
