I must be old-fashioned. I've now read it thrice on paper.

Your US link takes you to the paperback version. Here's the Kindle Link

Looks like I may have to buy it again. :)

Thanks Jonas

Fixed now.

I'd love to read it again, so I'll have to buy the Kindle version because my original hard copy is doing the rounds of friends.

Good news. Looks like I'll finally be able to read your book. :)

Most odd given CIF environmental management have openly stated their full support for AGW and made it clear they consider they job is to promote this this theory .

Is there going to be an epub version for all the people without a kindle?

Jul 18, 2011 at 5:59 PM | Unregistered Commenterivan

There are also Kindle apps for things like iPhones, iPads, Android etc.

Jul 18, 2011 at 6:52 PM | Unregistered CommenterNick Milner

Can't wait for the HP Touchpad introduction of its Kindle app. This will be my first purchase.

Thanks Bish. Bought it and 12 seconds(!!) later it was on my Kindle.

Ivan. If you download it to your PC (if possible) you could try Calibre, which is an app that manages ebooks and can convert from one format to another. (It's free)

@Nick Milner

I know that but epub is the standard on the Nook and such like.

@Snotrocket

Running Calibre assumes one is running windows, linux or osx. Only problem is I don't run any of those and haven't got round to porting it to OS/2 yet because I can't get the source code because of the way it's stored.

Even so it might be possible to run linux in a VM. I'll just have to see what I can do.

The main thing I was thinking about is those people that have e-readers that support epub directly and just want to download the book and read it without the intervention of a PC.

Seems like we can have either the printed version OR the Kindle version for pretty much the same price. I didn't realise paper, setting, printing, binding, distribution and profit margins were so 'slim'......

Great book though.

Congratulations, Andrew~!

This is the digital age, and this is another milestone for your hard work.

Had MBH had this degree of transparency after 1998, would we be living in a different age? Quite possibly.

This is great news! I've been wanting to re-read; but since getting my Kindle (it's all Donna's fault ... I couldn't resist after hearing her sing its praises!), my real books languish on my bookshelf!

Bought, downloaded and begun.

I wonder if sales are going to show that familiar hockey stick shape......

Great news Bish. I had to wait 4 months to get home from China before getting into my dog eared copy. Bloody daughter had read it twice before I got my chance! Lots of emails already sent directing friends to the Amazon links.

Glad to hear this, Bish - I bought the paper version but never got round to reading it because soon thereafter I loaded the Kindle app for PC and discovered how much better reading is on screen. Now I've gone off reading from paper print.

Now I don't need my still pristine paper version, If any impoverished reader wants it for free, email me: mickjo at live dot co dot uk and I'll post it to them. All I ask is that they cover postage by a small donation to your tip jar, say a couple of quid, once they receive the book. That should cover your royalties.

Just bought it - I've read the printed version but I've always wanted to re-read it, and Kindle is more convenient.

Great news, Andrew, I've been waiting for this for some time.

A high-quality edition, in terms of table of contents, links to figures and tables, and good reproduction of figures. I'm impressed. Not all Kindle editions are as well put together as this one.

At last! Once I has acquired a Kindle, I stopped buying paper books, but now I have the HSI waiting for me on my Kindle as my next read!

Bought and put on the top shelf of my iPad!

I'm shocked and saddened Bishop that your preeminent and scholarly tome is to be used as kindling. This takes us back into the bad old days of totalitarian book burning and is to be strenuously deprecated.

Bought it!

Jul 19, 2011 at 6:10 PM | Unregistered CommenterNick

Now on my iPad. Cheers!

Nice one. I already have the paper version but might buy this too just to get it in a searchable, copy and paste-able format. It's a real shame we have to pay VAT on digital books, though.
