The Sunlight on Huhne

Via Guido, Bishop Hill readers' favourite politician, Chris Huhne has been receiving some attention from the Sunlight Centre for Open Politics, who are insinuating some dubious practices in Huhne's election expenses.

If this sticks then we may get a new man at DECC regardless of whether Huhne chooses to go.

I see Zac Goldsmith and Ed Balls are also being investigated. Such a waste of talent ...

The link to "Guido"'s post was useful - remind me never to bother looking at thew site again. Have you read the moronic posts on the Huhne story? To put it in their vernacular (for one time only) - what a bunch of ignorant twats!

@Ian UK

Quite agree with your description of the great majority of the comments on the GF blog. I long ago limited my reading to the blog entries. Gudio has a very high percentage of excellent blogs and far too many juvenile followers.

How sorry I am to see that Chris Huhne appears to be heading for a charge of Perverting the Course of Justice.

The Sunday Times has pictures of Huhne's ex wife and his new mistress, well based on looks he did the opposite of Prince Chuckles.

That article is dated August 6th 2010.

Guido is a great site which I read every day, but my advice would be not to go anywhere near the comments which are even more moronic than those on CiF.

Robinson

Guido is tweeting it furiously, so I think something's up. A couple of hours back: "@chrishuhne be very very afraid"

And this.

Oh is he? Probably just reminding everyone rather than anything new, I suppose. I read about the driving thing (Hune denies it). Sometimes there's no smoke without fire and sometimes there are the kind-of rumours Damien McBride used to distribute. It's hard to separate fact from fiction these days.

Interesting piece in The Daily Nasty:-
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1384707/Chris-Huhne-asked-speeding-points-Ex-wife-Climate-Change-Secretary-claims-pressurised-people.html

Something of a pattern emerges.

Looking at the shot of his lesbo lover one is reminded that the Huhnatic is quoted as saying that he thinks wind turbines are beautiful.

Should have gone to Specsavers, Chris!

Come on chaps. Having a go at the girlfriend is a no-no.

Don't get me wrong. I'd fight any of you, bare-knuckled, for the honour of commanding Huhne's firing squad. But let's leave the snark about CT to the gutter press.
