WOW! Josh that's amazing :-)
How about - An 'I'm Spartacus' Josh cartoon,
for all us bloggers, that might get our computers siezed....
Tallbloke previously.... (extract)
----------------------
Some people feel so threatened that they use monikers as opposed to their real names.
Mosh, after my name got picked up by the alarmist crowd letters started arriving at the Pro Vice Chancellors office demanding I be sacked from my place of work.
The threat is real, and the tactics are mean spirited and dirty. My contract has since been renewed so all is well, but that doesn’t make the MaCarthy-esque behaviour any less troubling. Anthony Watts is self employed, so the kind of attacks he suffers are different, but none the less real, and a genuine cause for concern.
So when Tim Wirth makes vague, undefined statements about “going after” “deniers”, it is understandable that Anthony Watts is concerned. It is not just ideas that get attacked.
The ‘ends justify means’ people, and Wirth is one of them, are a real threat. People from all sides of the climate issue who believe in an open society and freely expressed scientific debate need to stand up and be counted here.
“I’m Spartacus!”

or should it be - ;-) "I'm Tallbloke"
despite not being very tall (cartoon mileage?)
Serioulsy though.. My wife is actually quite concerned about this. ie random comment on my blog, or they go after WUWT authors (bit to high profile) 6 policemen turn, up linked topolice extremist and terroism unit!! could turn up at midnight and scare the children to death (4,7,8) not least if that got into local papers, effect business and family friends and aquaintances and children at school..
That's brilliant! Please keep them up in 2012 :D

"I'm Tallbloke!" ;-)
despite being 5foot9
A very merry Christmas to you Josh,
You really do cheer me up no end!!
And to that 'end' - climate realism - the best weapon we all have is humour - it stings [in ever such a nice way!!] and reaches the darkest parts of
MORDOR'um the DE&CC, please keep drawing inspiration Josh:^))The Bish told me he knew FOIA and emailed him daily, then deleted the emails off his router, but stored them on his Nokia 3330. He's a real script kiddie that bish.
Freedom of thought equals quality art... when you see things like that poster then you know the resistance has the more effective weapon: humour is on our side.
Here's to freedom! - scientific, artistic or otherwise.
bravo josh. truly hilarious. you have the field almost all to yourself, proving the current crop of "comedians" are a humourless bunch.
I'd forgotten how many brilliant cartoons you've done over the year. I look forward to an even better 2012, when hopefully things will go our way even more and we need you to keep rubbing it in. They don't like it up 'em Josh.
Merry Xmas Josh, and keep up the great work! My personal favourites are the Goreathon cartoons - pure class!
Josh, you is a hero. I think our merry band of thermageddon deniers is privileged to have a man of your talent as our Cartoonist Laureate.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Thanks for this outstanding year-in-review-in-cartoons-by-the one-and-only-Josh!
As the other communicants of the good Bish here, I look forward to your cartoons in 2012, as I've been looking forward to your cartoons during this past year.
Not only do you never disappoint, you always 'get' what is the point of the argument.
A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!
(Oh - I am tallbloke as well!)
Thanks for all the kind words above and for all the interesting and inspiring posts/comments etc over the year - all the cartoons start there so keep it up! And of course many thanks to all who have donated shekels, much appreciated.
Josh,
As with many people who work in Information Tech or any sufficiently modernized industry, we often have dual monitors of equal resolution.
I would LOVE a version of this that was perhaps 3840x1080, or perhaps lower resolution (but similar aspect ratio) to use as a multi-desktop background.
Nooooo.....I'M TALLBLOKE!!!!
Great compilation Josh.
Happy Christmas to everyone and here's to even more "deniers" in the New Year.
A great souvenir of a good year of progress for the good guys and gals in resistance to the CO2 'madness of crowds'. We don't just have the best case, the best scientists, and the best writers, we also have the best cartoonist. And of course Mother Nature herself is on our 'side', with many timely refutations of various gems of the headline-seeker's art such as those about hurricanes, or the snows of Kilimanjaro, or the Himalayan ice, or the surging of the seas, or snow as a fond memory in the UK, or indeed, cough, cough, of rising global mean temperatures.
Jeremy, an interesting idea. I will give it a go if I get some time.
Fantastic, Josh, many thanks.
And a very merry Christmas to one and all.
