Braveheart started out this way, and the king had the whole group slaughtered.

Ah, but it was a English king. Same thing happened to us in Ireland. More than once.

They may take our lives, but they'll never take our patio heaters!

Tea and bickies? You can't fight empires on tea and bickies, hold it in a pub and have a pie and a pint.

They should start proceedings with a toast to Raibeart Bruis who reigned during the medieval warm period, albeit, towards the end.We could use him (in our corner) today.

C'mon you Scots!!

We don't have anybody in England with the balls to do it.

P.S. Sorry about the rugger.

Tea and bickies? You can't fight empires on tea and bickies, ...

But not any old bickies, ... home made Scottish chocolate bickies!

Shortbread to provide food for the body. With readings from Oor Wullie and The Broons (not that one!) to provide food for the spirit.

"For as long as one hundred of us be still alive, we will never submit to the rule
of the warmistas".

"We fight not for conquest or glory or riches but only for our patio heaters - which
no good man gives up except with his life".

(Apologies to the authors of the Declaration of Arbroath)
