Is this one any relation to the idiot Geoffrey Lean who blogs for the Telegraph? I always enjoy his blogs - because of the way he is so comprehensively refuted in the comments e.g. see today's http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/geoffreylean/100044987/decisive-moment-coming-in-biggest-transition-since-the-industrial-revolution/
I think Ian E asks an interesting question -- is there any relationship between Judith and Geoffrey? I mean, beyond the obvious point that they both must have been dropped on their heads at birth.

You captured her coprophagic smile perfectly. Great Job! Hope it gets into the Times. Not that I am holding my breath.
A bit off topic, but I was just watching the BBC film clip where they interview Mike Mann, the moon face creator of the Hockey Stick. The part that caught my attention was Mad Mike wielding a chain saw and an image flashed into my mind of whole hillsides of trees laying where they were cut down. In the foreground we see Mad Mike peering that the rings of his latest victim and announcing "Damnit! This one won't do! Better try another!"
Not sure what to say Don! not going for quite that kind of smile, more embarrassed and slightly shifty, which kind of came from the photo that accompanies the story.
I did a cartoon a few weeks back on Treenometers for Moshpit which was similar to your idea.
I took it off the site on Friday but will put it up on page 2 Monday.
I wonder if Judith isn't looking out of the same glasses the rest of the solar physicists aren't. TSI by other researchers doesn't vary much either. So is this a bad process that ended with the right result anyway? ===========
Kim, thanks. Is it at all polite to say that in the US? It sounds rather shocking to my British ears, maybe It is one of those things that does not translate well.
And in your next comment are you saying that most solar scientists agree with Lean anyway?

Dr Judith Lean.

By Josh that's a corker.

The IPCC process takes scientists and makes them out to be 'stoopid'.
Coprophagic smile is very good, even though she has the pearly whites

Josh, perhaps you are not familiar with the Americanism 'shit eating grin'.

It's pretty common, but not polite, in the US, and yes.
