That cartoon, absolutely, sums up the final session of this afternoons Parliamentary 'enquiry'

Please note: "spelling" Many people prefer enquire and enquiry for the general sense of “ask”, and inquire and inquiry for a formal investigation.

No formality here..............move along now.

Good job, you and Steve have earned my respect (and a donation).

But keep it up, don't back off until the job is complete.

Josh,

Priceless but you could have drawn this one before the hearings started ;-)

Keep up the good work! This subject matter lends itself perfectly to your medium.

Cheers

Nice cartoon. My thought, as they were giving evidence, was of a trio that saw no evil, heard no evil, spoke no evil.

OT, have you seen this? http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/22/the-bloom-box-a-power-plant-for-the-home-video/

Bloom Box energy - is this the end for big power companies? Is this a CO2 free alternative, if so why dont we just spend the trillions of pounds Al Gore et al would get from carbon trading fitting these to all our homes?

Very good cartoon. A minor criticism the men are not wearing sandals?

One small request;
Not sure how to caricature Slinog 'redirection' onto different software ~'Tested Twice Daily' .
Maybe with her widebody parked in front of tiny phil, pointing at a weatherguy.
(odd that she would suggest that weather forecasters are paragons of insightful accuracy)

It's a breach of scientific ethics to mislead people who don't know any better, and most of the MP panel is uninformed as far as scientific software.

I found that aspect of her behaviour to be particularly reprehensible.
No way to chalk that up to accident.

I think Slinog perhaps slipped by proudly mentioning the places they'd sold/licensed their models to. If the Met Office loses contracts due to real or perceived quality concerns, they won't be able to buy any more shiny new supercomputers. If I were a prospective customer, after that performance I'd be asking about QA processes.

But apart from that, need T-shirts, and if Josh takes requests, a Mann sliding down a Hockey Stick.
