And a very good interview it is, Your Grace!
Andrew Orlowski was the journalist who made me feel like I was not alone in my skepticism of the way science was behaving. it was through him that the whole skeptic world was opened up to me.
Bravo!
My Lord Bishop,
You don't have a deacon's job spare do you? My son, he's a good boy, he'll be looking for work shortly. You could talk about the weather.
Yours most sincerely
A Loving Mum.
Excellent! My two favourite websites cuddling up and exchanging links...
Might I admire the might of your Mitre?
Good stuff.
Twas Vulture Central that orginally sent me here...
Sir,;
I'd like to understand the source of that graphic that shows the LIA, PDO, red/blue, and the parabolic IPCC runaway.
Is that 'from the litrazure' of a kind that my alarmist sparring partner might acknowledge?
I'm always on the lookout for simple, self-contained graphix that tell the story in one picture, and I like that one.
TIA
RR
[BH adds: That isn't from my book. You'll have to ask Orlowski]
@Ruhroh
Do you like Figure 9.2: 'Mann at the centre of a paleoclimate web' in the book?
Yer Grace
Small typo in the title for figure 9.2.
Nice interview. I have to slightly disagree with you on the nature of funding being a source of conflict bit. Most scientists just put their heads down and work towards results. The Team is an exception in that regard. I thought you generalized a bit too strongly on that point.
Regards
Anand
Excellent, and you spotted that (almost) unbelievable quote by Esper as well.
