Feb 1, 2010 Climate: other Fake charities Greens John Rosenthal has taken a long hard look at where WWF gets its funding. Afficionados of the Fake Charities projects will not be surprised to learn that they huge swathes of their income is derived from the EU.
According to European Commission data, WWF was awarded nearly €9 million in EU support in 2008 alone. In 2007, the figure was over €7.5 million. Most of this support came in the form of ostensibly project-linked grants to WWF-International or its national affiliates.

Mann-Generated Global Warming really is a sewer, with the resultant attraction of rats like WWF, (which I'll always associate with the World Wrestling Federation anyway! Those rats at least had class.)
Green astroturfing
There is a clear distinction between the World Wrestling Foundation WWF and the "green" WWF.
One of them is a blatantly commercial enterprise that makes money from the gullible with over-hyped stage-managed events with rigged but unbelievable outcomes. The other runs wrestling tournaments.

These guys are in this thing deep, and many may stand to loose their pensions, and some churches other than the ‘Church of AGW’ may also loose their robes.

That explains a lot about the BBC bias on climate change!
So if I've got this right, we pay Taxes to the Government, who pay some of it to the EU, who pays some of to the WWF who use some of it to come up with dodgy reports for the IPCC that tells our government to cut CO2 and take more taxes from us.
Sounds like the perfect Ponzi scheme to me!

4trillion euros - chickenfeed: this guy is involved in directing funding of 55 trillion dollars into 'green' investments, and trying to get green taxes out of every taxpayer in the UK. As I state in the blog post:

Napier is an eco-imperialist, and for him and his cronies it’s all about total social control for the green agenda – controlling all bases: investment, building, land, religion, government, taxes, propaganda, advocacy, monitoring, climate science and data.

The government has an agenda to push, so it shoves money at a charity/NGO with a broadly similar agenda. The charity inevitably tailors its message and alters its focus to suit the government (pander to the source of funds, inviting more) and lobbies the government to do what it wants to do anyway, by creating a false impression of popular support.
Astroturfing indeed, and corrupting to the organisations getting the funny money.
The Environment Agency Pension Fund is investing in organisations that benefit from the last few years' activities of the Environment Agency? I know nothing of the law covering such actions, but doesn't that stink?

I'm shocked by the extent to which this thing has spread its tentacles. I never thought that Climategate would kill it ( Climategate was, of course, when it started to hit the public at large ). It obviously had a lot of momentum. Few understood exactly what was involved in the momentum. It's going to take years for the roots to die.
Dont forget they also wrote policy for the Australian Government and while they and Greenpeace saw huge increases in funding the other environmental institutions were starved!
