Badman is not good
Jun 12, 2009 Civil liberties Home education
Terribleman, appallingman, sickoman, tyrantman, evilman, sinfulman, ruinousman, rottenman, putrescentman, baseman, poisonousman, wickedman.
The Badman report on home education is out, and it's monstrous. Forced entry to people's homes is recommended. Revolutions have been started over this sort of thing.
I'm too angry to say anything sensible. Read Lisa instead.

He had an Apple Mac, plus his own broadband link and from age 13 to 16, he studied in his bedroom. He ended with a folder stuffed with certificates of achievement ranging from a readable and accurate explanation of the functions of the human kidney to describing the building and stocking of our fishpond. OTOH, he has difficulty in map reading, which is a disadvantage in travelling to work sites. His other horticultural escapades will not be elucidated here on the grounds of self re-incrimination.
Well notschool does indeed do some great work BUT..
It's founder Stephen was on the panel for the review, lot of god that did us.
Still the review didn't reccommend that we all have PCs to get our kids to log in every day and be seen on webcam, not sure why they left that one out.
