Home education consultation

There is a home ed consultation ongoing at the moment, inviting responses to the government's proposals. Readers may like to make their feelings know here. Responses are due by close of play on Monday.

Please, please non-home educators think about responding, even if it's just to say NO to each of their proposals. Those who do not home educate and wish to see us regulated out of existence and the state take over the role of parent to every single child aren't shy about having their say.

I did post a response, non-HE myself but I see yet another attack on civil liberties. Not that I think it will make the slightest bit of difference.

Consecutive governments steam-roll their private agenda regardless of public opinion, from Lisbon to dog control orders to the rights of HE to educate their children how they see fit.

was George Orwell's 1984 really a work of fiction?

Responded to this consultation last night. I know it's probably pointless but it's the thought that counts.

I'm an adult now but I cherish the fact that my mum had the foresight to choose to home-educate.

I have responded to consultations on several topics. My experience is that the comments are disregarded if they don't agree with the basic tenet of the consultation exercise (even if you are en expert in the subject matter).

@ Phillip

They do collate topics of responses, whether they learn anything from that's another question.

Your people will probably treat it the way our people treated the public comment on regulating CO2 as a pollutant by the EPA. The victims of HE, donchaknow, won't be thinking like state-educated persons and will be, like, out of place...

Hi Bish, sorry to go off topic but I know you like to follow the AGW scam :)

This is probably the most detailed, easily understood, data I've seen presented.

Lord Monckton's October 14th lecture at Bethel University. His message now extends beyond the global warming lie itself. Rather he is busily sounding an alarm about where that lie will shortly take us if we do not act quickly to stop it.

The first link is a video of his presentation (1h 30mins) the second link is a pdf file of the slides in the presentation, I recommend downloading it in advance so you can follow in real time. (pdf is 17mb)

The 3rd, and 4th link is Monckton being interviewed by glen beck ( less than 10 mins each)

the 5th link is Mocktons closing words from the presentation, which is too long to re-produce here BUT VERY IMPORTANT if you don't have time to view the presentation! If you follow only one link read his closing statements!

last link is a copy of the Copenhagen treaty outline document. I have not had time to read it as yet, but Please, take part in reading and researching this document. If Lord Monckton is correct, this must be made public knowledge as soon as possible! (presentation)
(slides for presentation) (radio interview with glen beck Pt 1) (pt 2) (treaty document)

Monckton is in DC right now working to educate th US congress prior to December when it will be signed!

Monckton says the Copenhagen agenda is 1)World government, 2) Transfer of wealth to 3rd world, 3% of GDP! as "climate debt" 3)Enforcement of the treaty!

I am convinced this information needs to get out there before December, once it's signed it will be too late!
