Rejoice! Global warming over!

It was the 85th coldest July since records began! (Out of 349)

The BBC forgot to tell us though. (In fact, just a week ago they were telling us that temperatures are above average)

Should we panic that we're on the threshold of a new ice age yet?

Update:

I notice that the BBC article claims that the poor weather is due in part to La Niña. Compare to this article: No La Niña this summer, NOAA says.

Dear BishopHill,

Good spot! reminds me of http://www.iceagenow.com, where massive precipitation leads to the next ice age.

By the way, have you seen that hilarious South Park episode where 'Global Warming attacks'/ It's called "Two days before the day after tomorrow".

Here's a great clip: http://www.cartoonfeed.com/videos/South_Park/South_Park_-_Global_Warming

Thanks for a great blog - as recommended by http://devilskitchen.me.uk/ !!

Thanks Morgan, you're very kind.

South Park? One of those things I keep meaning to get a DVD set of - I've never watched it, not being much of a TV guy these days - but I'm intrigued by its reportedly libertarian outlook.

Great clip!

Glad to hear that, but (as a resident on England) it's not global warming that scares me so much, it's global cooling.

So I don't really feel any better for having read this.
