Good Friday

On Good Friday, one of the baby bishops asked:

"Daddy, why is it called Good Friday? It wasn't a very good day for Jesus, was it?"

So why is it called Good Friday?

That's nothing. At a tender age, Deariewee said "Poor Jesus, he died before he got his Easter eggs."

When I asked that as a child I was told it was a corruption of God's Friday.
It is also rather good if you're a Christian, as that's the day Jesus died for our sins.
