+ as many as I can

Thanks, but no thanks for the news, I tend not to watch the news nowadays, carries too much propaganda and appeasement!

Another sad day as homo sapiens strives for understanding. Boy do I struggle to understand fanatics, no matter the creed religious, nationalistic, racialist, football etc. How can you allow yourselve the solace of certainty?

My sympathies for those caught up in the shootings in Paris and their families.

Brownedoff, I remember when EON UK was PowerGen, the leaner, meaner part of the split of the CEGB and how annoyed I was when EON bought out the shares... just as well they did really. There are a lot of dominoes standing, waiting for the first push.

Also aware that Bosch supplied the software ..
Very interesting.....that Bosch is also the villain in the piece when it comes to what Dyson has been saying about vacuum cleaner testing. And even though he lost the initial court case, it'll be interesting to see what comes out in the subsequent case where Bosch are going to sue him.

Looking at the DMI Current Surface Mass Budget of the Greenland Ice Sheet charts it would appear that the growth in mass growth for 2015/16 is way above normal, unprecedented you might say.

..You are aware Audi is 100% owned by VW group ?

Yes, when I made the post, also aware VW engines are in Audi's with the defeat software, but also aware it does not change the meaning of my comment. Also aware that Bosch supplied the software for testing purposes and make all the ECU's which means unless VW were reprogramming the ECU's on delivery means Bosch are in it up to their necks. All for to meet green meanie wet dreams of no co2.

It seems that E.ON have completed the split up.

The TEC register for 04 November 2015 shows:

(a) E.ON Climate & Renewables UK Developments Limited - 7 on-shore windfarms and 4 off-shore windfarms

(b) UNIPER UK LIMITED - 1 biomass, 2 coal and 5 CCGTs

http://www2.nationalgrid.com/UK/Services/Electricity-connections/Industry-products/TEC-Register/

E.ON UK plc has turned into UNIPER UK LIMITED

Brownedoff - There are probably rules that govern the old companies to guarantee to supply if they can, thus they have the duty to keep the lucrative renewables pumping money into the loss making reliables. Both sides of the company lose. If they separate, then the fossil fuel side can be allowed to head towards shutting down, which will panic governments into subsidising them too. Once the two side break apart, expect salaries to be slashed, to drive workers into strikes. Win, win for the company. Lose, lose for the public.

From "No Tricks Zone":

Bleeding To Death…Germany’s Largest Power Company E.ON Loses Whopping $7.8 Billion…Collapse Accelerates

http://tinyurl.com/nthcm8a

In the UK, E.On has plant of 7,810 MW capacity, of which 6,843 GW is CCGT.

In the UK, RWE has plant of 11,003 MW capacity, of which 8,561 GW is CCGT, OCGT and Coal.

So, 18,813 GW of UK capacity is . . . . secure. . . wobbly. . . . ?.
