Meant to mention, ACK, it would also be intersting to hear your comments on JoNova's take on the Clintons.

Harry Passfield. Opinions are judgements and judgements opinions. How do any of us distinguish? I shall endevour to view his opinions simply because you ask it of me.

ACK:

I no longer profess to be a scientist but can't stop thinking like one.
Yet you can't help confusing judgment with opinion. Not that I hold either against you, just that you seem to want to rubbish others who have opinions at odds with your judgments and judgments at odds with your opinions.

Do go and take a look at Giuliano's (legal) opinions...your thoughts on it will be that much more appreciated.

For those not acclimatised to the Uprecedented rise in political deviations

Is this a repeat, or the latest in a long line?

@ACK

I'd just like to hear Mr. Wiener's take on it all ... he seems to be being overlooked in all the sparks and smoke.

Nobody seems to be volunteering his whereabouts at the moment.

One might reasonably assume in light of the way say CNN has dealt with the election that a fleet of news-copters would be orbiting his house and the nearby streets teeming with with reporters and cameras - no? He is after all the person that's precipitated all this.

Harry Passfield.
Scientists are human too.
I no longer profess to be a scientist but can't stop thinking like one.
One of the judgements made by scientists is to determine whether a certain course of action will be worth pursuing. I made that judgement.
My view is that the FBI's action so close to the election stinks to high heaven. I am entitled to hold such a view and to broadcast it. If it affected the Donald I would be similarly affronted. Mine is a non partisan rant. Neither of them should have been selected to run for the highest office. The best we can hope for is that the majority in Congress will belong to the opposite party.

An amusing example of the law of unintended (but predictable) consequences in last Friday's DT:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/10/28/government-tries-to-halt-dirty-diesel-boom-with-subsidy-curb/

Equally amusing to read Ed Davey expressing concern about security of supply.

Irony city :
Trump "election is rigged"
MSM "you can't ever say that"
..next moment
MSM say "The FBI is rigging the election"
.....................................(BTW There is no difference between MSM and Team Hillary)
